Once upon a time, in a land far from here there once lived a king and a queen adored by the people of the land. It was King Carter the protector who was married to Queen Winter the loving. The names of that couple was 100% true. King Carter would do anything to protect his family and the people of Nivala. The Queen was caring, loving, and beautiful inside and out. Now the people of Nivala were especially excited for the news that Queen Winter was pregnant! They adored the King and Queen so they knew that they would fall in love with the heir to the throne! What the King and the Nivalians didn't know was that the Queen was cursed by a witch. The witch said to the Queens parents that their first child shall be cursed when she has a baby. The first baby born will be whisked away, by the witch, into a cabin deep in the woods where no one will ever find the baby. Queen Winter was very scared for her child and she hated the fact that her first born would be taken away. Winter soon settled in and Queen Winter knew the baby was coming. It was the most freezing winter in all of Nivala. Everywhere you looked was snow and ice. The Nivalians called it Winter's heart because this winter was basically inside of a cold heart. Dangerous, fierce, and empty. Queen Winter finally had her first child in which she named Robin. The queen loved her with all her heart. Around 15 minutes later another baby was born. Robin's twin named Krystal. The queen chose the name Robin because robins are winters bird. Queen Winter named her second daughter Krystal after the ice crystals floating about outside the palace. Oh how the queen loved her children, but she knew Robin will be taken by the witch any second so she let her husband say hello and goodbye to Robin before the queen brought Robin all the way to a small, poor, Navalian village. The queen asked two of the residents to take care of her child as long as needed so that the king and herself can stop the witch. The two Navalians agreed happily because the wife, Beth, can't have babies. Beth and Peter watched over Robin for two weeks before the queen came knocking on their door. Queen Winter reported to them that the king, her knights, and herself have defeated the witch so she's come to retrieve her baby. Now Beth and Peter had already started to form feelings for baby Robin. They loved her as if she was their own child. So they lied to Queen Winter and said that Robin died two days after the queen gave her to them. The queen wailed for what seemed like years for her child. She loved Robin and so did the king. They made a holiday called Winter's Heart where everyone celebrates the dead princess.
