"What are we waiting for?" Luke grabbed Soheila's hand and they ran in together. Reasurfacing at the same time.

Darcy looked my way, "Well, looks like it's just you and me." And before I could answer he pushed me over the waters edge. As I went down, I screamed so loud, even the fish were scared.

Darcy followed with an impressive flip and big splash. We all treaded water and enjoyed the slow current. The water was cooling and refreshing to this burning day. The water tasted even saltier than before, and licking your lips was a risk.

After a qucik swim, we all climbed back onto the pier. There was a rusted but definitely stable ladder leading back up to the pier.

Darcy went to get a bottle of water from the cooler they bought, and the girls nudged me to follow. Soheila winked at me from the distance as I smiled back, embarrassed.

He saw me coming and tossed me a bottle of water. "Thanks." I replied cooly. We both went to sit by the edge of the pier, our feet hanging. The sun beamed at us like there was no tomorrow.

"Do you know how to surf?" He asked taking a swig of his bottle. I squinted one eye and looked at him. "No. Maybe you could teach me?" I replied. He laughe, "Yeah. I should." At that moment, I stared at his face. Water dripping from the tips of his hair to his nose.

My body was wet, little drops of water ran down my burning skin. My hair was soaked, but my face soon dried due to the sun.

I looked back and caught Sahel's eyes in our direction many times, but she pretended to be looking out to the beach. Train how ever, was the most obvious. She sat on the pier with crossed legs, eating a sand which with Callan for company. She stared and smiled when I caught her. Soheila even though still in the water with Luke and Brandon was making faces at me.

I laughed, "What's funny?" Darcy asked. I quickly blushed. "Nothing...." I replied. His eyes then shot to my lips, "You've got a cute laugh." He half smiled. It was perfect, so attractive his half smile was. I didn't know what to say and for a moment we just stared at each other.

"I like you." He said, "Alot." I was shocked and drawn back. "Sorry, did I ruin the moment?" He asked noticing how I leaned away from him. "No," I replied quickly, maybe too quickly. "Actually, I wanted to tell you the same thing."

Darcy smiled, sweat dripping from chest and running down his abs. "Will you be my girlfriend than?" He asked. It was so sudden, but the answer was quick. "Yes," I replied.

Darcy then began to lean in. At that moment, I thought if I should lean in too. My gut feeling said go with it, but then it said I shouldn't. Everything was going quickly and before I knew it, his lips were on mine. I guess I just enjoyed the moment.

"Ohhhh!" The others cooed as they watched Darcy and I break. "Cuties!" Train shouted out. I looked down blushing. So Darcy and I were going out now? I guess so.

By 1 pm, we all made our way down to the beach. Darcy and I were holding hands. He had a firm grip, but so reasurring. As we got onto the sand, we layed out bags and stuff near  the waters edge. But we knew the tied wouldn't come in far enough to hit.

The boys got their surf boards and held them under their arms. Callan and Train were quick to hit the water. We watched as she layed on the board as Callan helped paddle her out to the waves. They were small and easy to ride.

We watched the surf board bobble up and down as they went over the waves. Train then got up and tried to ride the coming wave. She attempted to weave the board with her feet and body, but it didn't make a difference. As the wav crashed, so did Train. She reasurfaced and laughed, Callan also laughed, but help her get back on.

We waited as the surf got bigger, so it was easier to ride. But Darcy and the boys became too impatient and we decided to join Callan and Train.

"Here get on, it's easy." Brandon begged. "No." Sahel said firmly. But even Sahel couldn't resist learning how to surf. "Oh fine. But keep your hands off me." She demanded.

The water was warm and I pushed myself onto the board. They were long and white. Bigger and thicker than what it seemed. Darcy held my waist and kept me balance.

"Now balance!" Luke called out. I watched Soheila as she attempted to ride a wave. She was on top of it at first, "I'm doing it! I'm surfing!" She laughed. But as the wave crashed, she slid off her board, went flying into the air and hit the water. We all laughed, and attempted it again.

"Just follow the wave okay?" Darcy told me as I got ready to get up on the surfboard. "Okay..." I mumbled with uncertainty. I quickly stood up but straight away fell. Darcy laughed and as I reasurfaced I hit him on the arm. His muscly arm. He grabbed my wrist and with the help of the current he pushed me close to him and kissed me.

"Awww!" Sahel screamed out as she was on the surfboard. "Sahel! Keep your mind focused on the wave!" Brandon shouted. She was wobbling and her long legs just couldn't support her balance as she was too busy focusing on me and Darcy.

"Woah! WOah!" She began to scream. The board soared into the air and with it brought Sahel. She was in mid air and her legs went in all different directions before hitting the water with a massive splash.

Everyone laughed, including Brandon who rushed to her aid. "Are you okay?" She managed to choke out between laughs. She moved her wet hair that stuck to her face and replied angrily. "I'm fine! No thanks to you!"

Brandon then pouted, "I'll make you feel better." He then wrapped his tan arms around Sahel. Skin on skin. "Get off me!" She said struggling, "You're creepy and I don't like you!"

We all practiced surfing the rest of the day and surprisingly became better than when we first started. It was about five when we all went back to shore. Less people were on the becah, but it was still crowded and the sun was still hot.

We were all thirsty and wet as we ran back to our stuff. The boys ran with their surfboard under their arms and layed it down on the sand. Soheila, Train, Sahel and I all layed on the sand as soon as we got there. We were stuffed and out of breath. We couldn't care less about the sand that would stick to our salty and wet body.

The boys shared a laugh, but even they couldn't hide their panting. After the sun went down, we got dressed and headed to a resturant in the city for dinner. It was fancy, everyone was dressed in long gowns and suits.

We headed in anyway. Soheila was confident and even with the stares that followed 8 misciefous teenagers, we didn't care, because we were having the time of our lives. "Like our bikini?" Sahel joked doing a little pose. We all giggled helplessly. "Wanna try mine on?" Soheila added.

We laughed even more as we recieved more attention from the other customers. The boys laughed along with us and as we got seated, we ordered dinner. Still the weather was hot, though the night was dark. Atleast I'm not the single one in the group anymore.
