(If you haven't read it yet, you might want to stop here... spoiler alert! That's why I put this at the end.)
The Oak Hotel has been a five-year long project that ended here on Wattpad. The first few parts were actually published separately:
The Oak Hotel (2008), The Painted Lighthouse (2009), Queen of the Oaks (2011), The Lost Boardwalk (2013)
The final book, which I planned on publishing traditionally, just made more sense sharing here on Wattpad with you. As it stands, I am searching for an agent/publisher to handle the book in its entirety.
Bonus item:
During the story, Sapana and the girls traveled back to the beginning of the universe (for the second time) to re-write history. This was done in a very non-obtrusive way, which led to many elements of their imagination bleeding through across all worlds. One particular effect were the anagrams. Kayleigh and Lincoln found a few of them, such as:
Kana Hove = Oak Haven
Te’hæra Thorn = Another Earth
Mona Tarok = Oak Matron
Burnam Tau'roh = Autumn Harbor
There are, however, many more anagrams hidden within the story. How many can you find? =)
