it scared him. you know. that she was still sitting there. and it had been 2 hours. he sat there too. right behind her. way back in the corner of the store. carefully watching her. watching the life around him. as everyone continued on with their lives. he paused his. to watch a girl. who was frozen. she had already taken in 2 cups of coffee. and now her head rested on the table on top of her delicate hands. and he watched. wondering. would she ever lift it again?
