After dealing with the "little" mess that Bella made, I walked back into the throne room, only to find Felix there as well.
"Hello Lydia. I was just about to go find you."
"Oh? And why is that?"
"Master Aro informed me that you three are going to Seattle to deal with some newborn problems along with Demetri and I. We are leaving as soon as possible."
I nodded and walked back to my room with Jane and Alec, bidding them farewell as we passed theirs. I put on a black long dress and combat boots along with my cloak. Seattle was going to be cold. I know vampires can't feel temperature and all that but we still have to look the part so that the annoying humans don't get suspicious. As I was packing my suitcase, my mind couldn't stop wandering towards Alec. The way his eyes followed my every movement was creepy...yet romantic. Wait. What the hell was I thinking?! Stop it Lydia. You can't fall in love. Not after that. Burying the feelings deep inside my heart, I put on a stop cold mask and stepped outside the castle where everyone was already waiting for me.
"Let's get going, shall we? We have some newborns to take care of."
