WHAT IF?

The Results Are In Part 2

(Oooooohhh!!! The audience went bezerk when they heard Beyoncé name)

"Hold up. I'm just playing. Not Beyoncé. But Brandy." Laurent quickly added.

Sunshine shook her head and said,

"You're a whore. That's nothing to be proud of."
"And the kids names, please?" Maury asked with tears in his eyes from laughing too hard.
"Laura, Laurent jr., Nicole, Nicholas, Angelo, Lauren, Karl and Harmony. And that's in order. No child support here." Laurent listed and took a bow.

Once Maury was able to stop laughing, he said,

"Alright, let's make some sense out of all of this. Bring out Larry."

Larry came out from backstage and attempted to kiss Sunshine on the cheek. But she turned away from Larry.

"Hey Larry. Welcome back. I would like to hear your side of the story." Maury said.
"Okay, so I'm having doubts because of two reasons. One, Sunny doesn't look like me. Second, she decided at the last minute to not give him my first name after she agreed to months ago." Larry explained.
"Oh my god, are you serious? The real reason is because Laurent is filling your head with lies." Sunshine replied.
"It's a fact, you're a liar." Laurent said.
"Why you lie to me? He's supposed to be my first son. I wanted him to have my full name." Larry replied getting angry.
"Why would I name my first child after a man who is denying him?" Sunshine shouted.
"Okay. Okay! Stop it! Larry do you love Sunshine?" Maury loudly asked.
"Yes I do. I'm just so tired of having doubts." Larry replied.
"If you wasn't listening to Laurent, you wouldn't have doubts." Sunshine said.
"He's just looking out for me." Larry replied.
"Okay, okay!!! Sunshine do you love Larry?" Maury asked as he yelled over Larry and Sunshine arguing.
"I do. I love him so much. If I didn't, I wouldn't be here fighting for my family." Sunshine answered.
"I've just been informed that the lie detector test and DNA test results are here." Maury announced as one of the producers handed him two folders.

(Audience clapped and cheered)

"Before I read the lie detector and DNA test results, if these results prove that she is telling the truth about everything, will you step up?" Maury asked.
"Absolutely. I want Sunny to be mine." Larry replied.
"We asked Sunshine, 'have you had any sexual contact with any other man since you've gotten back to Larry?' You said no. The lie detector test  determined...you're telling the truth. 'Have you had any sexual contact with anyone while you were pregnant?' You said no. The lie detector test determined...you're telling the truth. 'Have you had any sexual contact with anyone since your child was born?' You said no. The lie detector test determined...inconclusive." Maury said as he read the results.

Maury was interrupted by screams of shock. Larry, Laurent and Sunshine was shocked too.

"Wait, let me finish. We also asked,'Did you take any drugs to pass the lie detector test?' You said no. The lie detector test determined...inconclusive." Maury continued.
"What the f**k!!" Laurent yelled.
"What does inconclusive mean!!" Larry yelled.
"I have Vince, the lie detector specialist to any that question." Maury introduced.

Vince stood up and said,

"Inconclusive can mean many things. But for the most part it means that the machine wasn't able to detect an exact yes or no response from the wave readings. The question I want to focus on was the question about drug intake. She admitted  to taking medication due to health issues, prior to taking the test. However, she was unaware that her medication would affect the results. Lie detector test are 98.9 percent effective. So these readings are very accurate. As far as the other questions about sexual contact after her child was born. It isn't clear if Larry is the person she was referring to with having sexual contact with based on how the question is stated. Lame terms, she may or may not have cheated. Right now it's not 100% clear. You would be safe to take her word based on the lie detector test results."
"Thank you so much for that explanation. And now for the DNA test results. When it comes one year old, Sunny, Larry....you are....THE FATHER!!!" Maury announced.

(The audience screamed and jumped up from their seats.)

Laurent ran off the stage into the backstage area. He's mouth was covered with his hands and his eyes were wide open.

"I can't believe this s**t!!!" Laurent yelled.
"I told you! I told you that was your son!!" Sunshine shouted as her eyes started to fill up with tears.

Larry stood up and tightly hugged Sunshine. Larry wiped the tears from his eyes and said,

"Where's my son? I want to see my son."

Everyone walked backstage and met up with Laurent.

"I believe you owe me an apology." Sunshine said with her hands on her hips.
"I'm sorry. I was wrong." Laurent apologized and hugged Sunshine.

A smile appeared on Larry's face. A makeup artist brought Sunny to where everyone was. Larry grabbed Sunny and kissed his cheeks multiple times. Laurent baby talked to Sunny.

"I love you, Larry." Sunshine said as she rubbed Larry's back.
"I love you too, Bella." Larry replied and kissed Sunshine on the forehead.
