"Excuse me, is this Ms. Jauregui's office?"

Camila had her first interview in 2 years and to say she was nervous was an understatement. She felt as though she was completely out of her comfort zone when she applied for the personal assistant job, but she needed the money. Being two months behind on rent is something Camila's landlord did not find funny.

"Depends on whose asking."

Camila met a very intimidating pair of green eyes and suddenly felt inferior under the intense gaze. "Oh, well I'm supposed to have an interview for the personal assistant position and I'm running quite late so I would really appreciate if you just told me her off-"

"Relax, you're in the right place. And by the way, I'm Ms. Jauregui, in case you didn't know already."

Camila was at a loss for words, she knew she had tendency to ramble on whenever she was nervous. At this point she was seriously considering running away and hiding under her covers for the rest of her life and only ever emerging for food. After staring at her once future boss for quite a long period of time, Camila was snapped out of her thoughts by a raspy voice asking her to come through to her office.

The office was very minimalistic, with white walls and black furniture. It was all very daunting to Camila since every part of her life was clad in an array of colours (seriously, her apartment looks like a rainbow threw up on every surface).

"So mystery girl, what makes you think you're good enough to be my personal assistant?"

Shit. Camila grimaced, she completely forgot to introduce herself. If there was a list of the worst interviews ever, she's pretty sure that this one would be right up there sitting proudly at the number one spot.

"I'm so sorry! I can't believe I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Camila Cabello. And to answer your question I think I'm good enough as I'm very reliable and I'm really good at ordering coffee I guess. Oh! And I'm amazing at organising things, like this one time my best friend Dinah asked me to plan her birthday part-"

"As much as I would love to hear this story, Miss Cabello. I have a very tight schedule and I would like to end this pain for both of us as quickly as possible. Miss Cabello, what do you think this job actually entails?"

"Well, I guess I would have to order a lot of coffee and make a lot of phone calls and probably answer emails? I mean I'm just going by what I seen in The Devil Wears Prada so I might not be correct."

Camila has never wanted the ground to open up and swallow her whole more in her life. Might as well leave now, I fucked up in the first 2 minutes and now I'm just dragging this out, Camila thought.

Camila was caught off guard when she heard a soft chuckle escape Lauren's lips.

"You're hired. Be here at 9am sharp on Monday morning, no minute later or else I will rebuke my decision. Are we clear?"

What. The. Fuck? Is this real life? Camila was extremely confused. She waited for a moment and looked around the room trying to find any hidden cameras in case she was being Punk'd.

Lauren cleared her throat to grab Camila's attention and raised an eyebrow, questioning her.

Camila stammered, "Yes sir! Oh shit! Fuck! I'm so sorry! Yes ma'am, I will be there!"

Grabbing her bag and making a swift exit out of Lauren's office, Camila said one last thing, "I promise you won't regret this!"

Stepping out into the cool air, Camila breathed a sigh of relief. She felt something change and she was curious to find out just what it is.
