You walk up to the statue, not blinking but creeping slowly like a mouse. It seems to invite you to touch it. Reaching out, you expect to feel a stony exterior. But all you feel is air. As you travel and end up somewhere that is completely different. It's all green. There are maple trees. What the hell happened? One minute you were in your bedroom, the next you are on a farm, in Canada? You see a man, reading a newspaper. You call out to him and ask where you are.
'Victoria of course, in 1923.'  What? You storm off walking, trying to find someone who wasn't going to joke around with you.
'Are you following me?'  He is bounding after you, set on keeping you safe.
