what hurts the most
A young girl with a unique name discovers "puppy love" and thinks it's everything. For Duday, liking her best friend Ran was hard to admit, especially with girls always trying to get his attention. Their friendship caught everyone's attention and they occasionally paired them up just to tease them. Duday always felt uncomfortable about it, but rode with it when Ran almost always never seemed to be bothered.
As normal as having a crush on your best friend is, this story was written to keep a memory alive. For Duday(the author), this is more than just a story about having a crush on Ran. This is about having such a great friend when she was too young to understand the concept of treasuring friends.
The author wrote this story many years ago (OCTOBER 2011) – when she was still drowning in unhealthy ideas of love. The reality of this story happened over 10 years ago now. The author has been trying her best to edit the published story(wattpad) as much as she could for YEARS now. And lately, she's been having consistent dreams about Ran (spoiler alert: she hasn't been in contact with him for over 6 or 7 years). That's why, she's back on wattpad and back on trying to come back to this story.
So...without further ado, this is my attempt in editing a real story that I wrote when I was 11 years old. I hope everyone who reads this (or re-reads this) would enjoy this tiny part of my life. Cheers!

a little additional note:
The edited version is tag-lish. The dialogues will be in tagalog, and the narration will be in english. Sorry. I didn't want to lose the reality of the words if I translate the dialogue in english din. So ayun... enjoy! :)
