Invisible

The jump

   Angelica had left school early saying that she was sick and she wanted to walk home, only Angelica didn't go home but actually to the one place people wanted her. The bridge. School was going to end soon and by the time she reached the bridge it would be to late. Walking to the bridge she did one last thing on her phone, she had sent a sorry text to her mother and father and brother to get after she had died. After she was done with that she sent another timed text to a group chat with Tessa and Jake. You wanted me to go ahead and jump off a bridge congrats you got what you wanted. 'Okay everything is on timer' thought Angelica. She took one last look  at the world around her and then looks down at the river beneath her. The oddest thing happened though, she felt no fear only readiness for what's ahead. Angelica was finally able to do the two things she could never do away from this bridge. End her suffering and scream. So Angelica screamed and screamed and screamed until her throat was raw. Then she climbed up the edge of the bridge.

Unknown pov

     Walking home from school would probably have to be the best part of my day. I was walking right past the old creek when I heard a loud noise. Being concerned and confused I followed the noise only to find a girl screaming at the top of her lungs by the bridge. I was determined to stay hidden so I wasn't noticed, while I was hiding behind the tree I started to study her. From what I can see her hair is in a braid. Oh never mind she just took it out. Wow she has beautiful hair, I know if any other girls had that kind of hair they would never pull it up. Her skin is a beautiful olive sort of skin tone and she doesn't look like other girls in my school. She doesn't look... Starved, or to skinny, or fake. She just looks like a human. A human that's... Oh shit about to jump!
     Once I new she was about to jump I new what I had to do. My parents said I should never use the boat without anyone knowing but this was a big emergency. I had to help her, there was just something about her. So I ran down, no sprinted, down the concrete stairs that lead to all the boats people own and put the keys in mine. The keys wouldn't turn though. Shit she's about to jump! Turned the keys, jammed. Tried again, jammed. One more time... Yes it worked. There she was slowly falling down. I put my boat into full speed and...
