   Angelica's pov

It was another Saturday morning I sleep til noon and don't not leave my room until two, either reading or drawing in the time being.
I woke up to the oh so cheerful sound off my father telling me to "haul my lazy ass out of bed and try being productive for once in my life". Oh how much I just love my family. Coming down stairs I was dressed in dark gray jeans, combat boots, and a black shirt with white Aztec designs on it. The very first welcoming I got was from my parents looking me and my clothes over before rolling their eyes and proceeding to get ready to leave. My parents have never truly liked my appearance and I was fine with that. It made me look unapproachable and the less people that approach me equals the less people I might get attached to. My dad has always thought that I was weak. He says that's why people always choose to pick on me (hence why I am known as the girl who used to starve herself. Which btw never happened the school food is just awful how can anyone eat it!). Anyways as a lesson taught to me since the second grade I was told to never get attached to others, and I have lived by that rule ever since.
After I got into the car we went to my little brat of a brothers Boy Scout store to get his new uniform, then we went out to lunch (I got crab balls with crab with a c instead of a k if you know what I mean), after words we went back home and I got back in bed, listened to music, and painted for a while.
5:45. That's when I got called to get up and get ready to go to the neighbors house. Getting there wasn't really that hard but being there was. With isolation comes social awkwardness. I just sat quietly curled up in a seat. Amelia (a neighbor) and Synthia (the girl who lives in the house that I was at) walked out and with them came out her older brother. He was pretty handsome but he was also a high schooler, meanwhile I'm still stuck in the 8th grade. He was nice and funny as well, and as far as I could tell he was pretty intelligent as well. I would catch him looking at me oddly but as soon as he noticed I was looking back he would turn away with a slight tinge of pink on his cheeks. After a while he stopes looking at me and tried staying away from me. (Told you I was unapproachable) at the end around midnight I was still there with my music blasting out of my earbuds just tapping my finger to the beat to Bowling for Soup- 1985 which is a very good song might I add. The whole night was very awkward. Soon enough everyone had left and it was about 12:30pm I was wide away and so was he. My brother had walked home and Amelia and Synthia went up to Synthias room to go to bed. Right when it looked like Harry was about to talk to me all of our parents came in and said that it was time to walk home. Harry closed his mouth and mumbled a half hearted goodbye, I responded with a small wave before leaving. He was charming and I think I could love him. But only as a brother. Him and I would probably get along my well if  I could actually form words out of my mouth. Sitting on the corner of my couch I was wondering what Jake was doing. Idiot only you would be up!! Everyone else is sleeping, so obviously so is he. And stop wondering about weird stuff like that. And btw shouldn't you be asleep?
No. Friends is on.
Idiot.
And that's how the rest of my night went, internally debating with myself about the oddest topics such as my nonexistent love life, politics, friend issues, and more love life stuff. Omg I'm going mad!!!
