Chapter 5

I blinked and said "Father?"

"Isa."

I ran into his arms and Luna and my mother came into the den.

"Isadora?"

I turned and saw my mother.

"Mom?"

She ran up to me and said nothing. I hugged her and said "I don't know what happened."

"I know honey. It's okay."

My father came up to me and wrapped us in his arms.

"Both my girls."

I felt tears fall on my head and my own tears landed on my arm.

"Look at us. Both crying."

I sniffed and said "It's been eight years."

"A long eight years."

I smiled and said "Come on."

I relaxed and said nothing.

"We'll leave you three alone."

I smiled and said "Luke wait for a second."

I took Luke's hand and said "Mother....father this is Luke. My mate."

"Hello Luke."

"Hello. Sir. Ma'am."

He smiled his award winning smile and I just watched him.

'Good god he's sexy!'

'He's all ours.'

I smiled and alpha said "I have some alpha duties I need Luke's help with. Excuse us."

"Of course."

Luke kissed me and left. I watched him go and a small wimper escaped me. I didn't want him to go. I knew that they had no alpha duties they just wanted to give us time alone. I looked at my parents and smiled. They hugged me again and I looked behind them.

"Who are they?"

"Our guards. Don't worry about them."

I nodded and said nothing. My wolf wanted to go for a run.

'Run! Let's go for a run together!'

'Not now. Our parents are here.'

'Let's bring them along.'

I sighed and looked at them.

"Crystal would like to know if you would like to take a run with us. You don't have to but with our mate not by our side...she's restless."

They looked at each other and smiled.

"Let's go."

I smiled and my wolf's voice got out.

"Let's go!"

I spead out the door and to the woods.

"She's still a young wolf, but she's our daughter."

My father laughed and I hid behind a tree. I took the dress off and shifted into my wolf. She was happy to be let out. I wagged my tail and my parents shifted at the same time.

'Now...where is our daughter?'

'I think we can find her around here.'

I wanted to play with my father. I just had to make sure that he knew I wasn't a threat. I had a plan. I jumped out a bush and wagged my tail. He laughed and sniffed me.

'You're in a playful mood Isa."

'We want to play!'

'What-?'

I jumped onto his back and he laughed as I playfully nipped at his ear. Compared to his size I was a new born pup. He laughed and I jumped down.

'Come on.'

I followed them to the clearing that was in our pack lands. I ran after him and jumped on him.

'Isadora be gentle with your father! He's a little old to be rough housing!'

'I'm not that old.'

'Don't argue with me mr!'

'Dad come play!'

He chased me and I ran. He jumped in front of me and tickled me with his nose.

'I give up!'

I crawled out from underneath him and laughed. I lay on my back and he snorted.

'You're a beautiful wolf.'

'Really?'

My mother came over and lay next to me.

'Amazingly beautiful.'

I smiled and she nugged my head.

'Hey...you're mate is one lucky guy.'

'I know. He does too.'

'Speaking of mate. I have a feeling we're going to have to have a talk with him.'

My mother nodded and I said 'Don't scare him away. We're fully mated.'

'We won't scare him away. We promise.'

I licked their faces and said 'Let's start heading back.'

We followed our scents.

'So...Luke he's the Alpha's son?'

'Yeah. He's-.'

I heard a twig break and stopped. I sniffed the air and growled.

'Isadora...'

'Rouges!'
