To tame, or to fail?

Start from the beginning

I touch my sweaty hands.

"And....what would that be?"

She gives me a smile.

"You....will have to teach and be with Jiyong until he fully is able to adjust into life."

(Jiyong' POV)

I watch as she lets out a big air of breath, scratches her head frantically, then lets out another air of breath.

We walk in the halls slowly. I try to match her pace from the back so I wouldn't bump into her.

She suddenly stops. I freeze, not moving.

Her brown eyes meet mine once more, as she points a finger at my face, saying:

"Listen carefully. I did that to owe you for saving me, but now, your in my debt."

She crosses her arms.

"Now, you better listen to what I say....okay?"

I just stare.

What was she trying to say?

She puts on a thinking face, then she grabs my hands and runs through the hallway with me.

She takes me to an empty classroom, as she sits me down on a chair.

I look around the room.

It was dark...it was empty...

Just like that room....

I growl for a second but then the lights turn on.

Suspicious, I sniff the room.

My head snaps towards the seat next to mine, as she sits in it.

She folds her arm cuffs of her school uniform.

Clapping her hands together, she shouts.

"Let's start! Shall we?

***

I follow the movement of her hands.

She touches my hands gently.

I sniff her hands as she reaches in her bag for another object.

It was the object she was holding before, in class.

She unfolds my hands and fits the object in my hands. It felt weird, with the object wrapped around my hands.

She takes out a white sheet of paper, and she writes some weird form of letters I did not know.

"Write it." She says.

I sit there, not knowing what to do.

She lets out a small sigh of frusteration, as she grabs my hand and guides me with the object, as she spells the letter out with her mouth:

"P-e-n-c-i-l. Pencil. See? You got it."

It was true.

I wrote the weird letters with her help.

And I found out that the object was called: a pencil.

As I stare at the words proudly, she patts my head.

"Jalhetso." She says.

I felt delighted.

"Write it again." She says.

I gulp, understanding what she said.

I follow the lines of the words and sloppily, but clearly, wrote the word again.
