'OMG that is so me'
'Literally me tho'
These type of comments are some of the best comments you can receive about a character as it means people are relating and therefore engaging with your character. Having a character that can relate to people is actually not as common as you'd think because when I say 'relatable' I don't mean making a basic bitch that is a carbon copy of those girls you see shopping in groups. No when I say relatable I mean a character who isn't perfect, who can be slightly clumsy occasionally, and in general resembles your average human being.
When a reader has an emotional connection with your character is when you know that your character is perfect. Nothing is original in this world anymore but a character that people can identify with is very rare.
