Marco's POV
"Marco! I'm boooored!" Star whined, as she lay upside down on the sofa. "Wanna go to a different dimension for a while?"
I thumbed through my psychology book and smiled.
"As much as I'd like to go and ride unicorns in the Fairy Dimension with you, Star; I've got to study for tomorrow's test" I replied, flipping to the next page of my book.
"Unicorns live in the Rainbow Dimension, Marco! Everybody knows that!" The blonde replied, sitting up, properly.
"My bad..."
It had been pretty quiet since Jackie had left Earth and things finally looked like they were getting back to normal too.
Well, as normal as they could get, anyways.
I continued flicking through my psychology book, absorbing the information that had been presented in front of me.
"Marcoooo! I'm still bored!" Star whined, shaking me. "Let's go do something else!"
"But..."
"Pleaseeeee?"
I smiled and took off my black framed glasses.
"Okay then. How does ice-cream sound?"
"Sounds great!" Star beamed, bouncing up. "C'mon! Let's hurry!"
"Yeah!"
I walked down the sidewalk, taking licks of my vanilla cone, relishing it's cold, creamy taste.
Star skipped strolled beside me, enjoying the taste of her strawberry ice-cream.
"Well?" I asked, inbetween licks of my sweet, frozen desert. "Are you satisfied now, Star?"
The princesses thought for a while, before smiling at me.
"Hmm...no, not really" she replied, simply.
"Huh? Why not? We went and got ice-cream, just like you wanted to"
"I want to try some of yours, Marco!"
"What? I-I'm pretty sure you know what vanilla tastes like, Star..."
She stopped in her tracks and smiled at me.
I followed suit, a little confused why'd Star had just suddenly stopped.
"Ahhhhhhh~" she said, slowly opening her mouth, slightly.
"H-Huh? Star, what're you doing?" I asked, embarassed at her sudden action.
"Gimme some of yours, Marco~" she said, not really answering my question.
"Will you stop doing that if I do? It's sorta, well y'know, embarassing..."
Star nodded, so I brought my ice-cream cone to her mouth and the princess licked it, happily.
"Mhm! It tastes so good! Your turn, Marco!" She beamed, thrusting her ice-cream in my direction.
I smiled, sheepishly and took a lick.
"I guess, it's pretty good..." I said, blushing a little.
Star shot me her amazing smile yet again.
"See? Isn't nice to do these kind of things once in a while, Marco? We are a couple, after all"
"Y-Yeah..." I replied, smiling back.
Star finished off the rest of her ice-cream quickly and grinned, playfully.
"First one home is the best person in the whole universe!" She announced, darting off down the street.
"Hey! That's cheating, Star!" I chuckled, polishing off my food and sprinting after the blonde.
"Ahhh! I'm satisfied!" Star said, contently, laying back on my bed. "I ate, ran around and had loads of fun! Guess, I'll sleep for a while now..."
"H-Hey, you can't sleep there! You have your own room, Star" I said, sitting down at my desk.
"Whaaaat? I can't hear you, Marco...I'm already asleep~" the blonde princesses teased.
I just smiled and turned back around to my work.
"Sweet dreams, Star" I said, quietly.
"Thanks, Safe Kid..." Princesses Butterfly mumbled, just before drifting off to sleep.
