Chapter 1: Him

This damn clock needs to stop ticking. It seems like it's mocking me. I just wanted to crawl back into my bed and watch The Walking Dead until I pass out. But that can't happen because I'm only seventeen years old and still in high school. UGGGH! I look at the time again. and still not happy with what is staring back at me. My life sucks horse butt. Now I know you're probably wondering 'Who am I?' That's a good question. My name is Chloe Lana Daniels but my friends call me Lana or LaLa for short. I live with my mom and my little sister 'Alia' in Tampa Florida. I always wanted a relationship but it seems that I'm not as pretty as other girls. I use to(still) have the biggest crush on this guy in my Spanish class Taylor Smith, who also lives next door to me.  Taylor is sexy as hell and cocky as hell. I call him the Australian sex god. All girls fall head over heels for him. And i don't blame them. He has soft, curly, blonde/brownish hair with a tan that boys would envy. With his cherry plump lips and a jaw that could slice an apple in half. He is every high school girl's fantasy. But there is always a catch. This Fantasy boy is a nightmare. He is a complete Player. He fights, smokes, drinks, even take a few drugs here and there. Rumor has it that his mom is addicted to drugs so he is also addicted too. I'm not really a fan of rumors because most of the time there just that. A rumor. But there is one thing I do know. I know he doesn't care about the girls he hooks up with. To him, they're just fun for the night. He would have a different girl every week. One of the girls he messed with was my best friend. He recorded them having sex without her knowing and the next day he showed the video to all his friends. And then their friends. He tried to talk to me but I already knew what he wanted and that was my sweet little VIRGINITY. Plus, I wasn't looking for a relationship. I didn't want what happened to her, happen to me. She was a wreck and couldn't even show her face in school. I mean who would? But there was some part of me that actually thought of giving him a try. I know right. So naive. "Ms. Daniels?" Mrs. Williams practically yells. Like I'm right here in your face.

I roll my eyes and look at her before speaking.

"Yes Mrs. Williams" I say giving her my best fake smile.

" I was asking you who is your partner for the project?" I looked at her with my bottom lip in between my teeth.Then I turned towards the class to see everyone had a partner. Dang, i missed that much.

"Um..... I guess nobody." I half laugh. She scoffs and was about to say something until someone banged on the door.

Mrs. Williams groans inwardly and turns around towards the door. When she finally makes it to the door, she shakes her head. She opened the door and stares at him with a glare.

" Take a picture it will last longer yeah?" He spoke up. His deep Australian voice sending chills down my spine. He can still have an effect on me, even if I know what he is capable of. We then exchange glances. It seems like my heart was in my throat. His Amber brown hazel eyes burning a hole through my brown ones. I didn't want to look away. They were so mesmerizing. But I felt like everyone was staring, specifically the girls, so I broke the contact. And I was right. Everyone just stared. Even bitchy bitch was staring too. Oh right. You guys don't know about the wicked bitch of the west. Let me introduce Kasey, or what I like to call her 'the School's slut'. She is one of Taylor's many side hoes. I wonder if she knows. Of course, she does.

She gave me an evil stare but I shrugged it off like it was nothing. Which it was.

"Well Mr. Taylor, since you are late you would be attending detention this afternoon. Now take a seat by Ms.Daniels. We have a project that requires a partner." She said while walking back to her desk. Great now I have to work with Magic Mike who also Hooked up with every girl in the world. 'Fuck me sideways'
