Out of words

If only i could tell you what my lips are too afraid to utter, and let the  words flood out into a stream of sentimental intensity

But this
This drunken semaphore, this magnetic enmity is inoculating us against fidelity

In bygone days you chose to repudiate our mutual intimacy in fear of the thought "everyone leaves, eventually"

But have you ever thought that maybe
Just maybe
We didn't just meet accidentally
And fall into a mutual ecstasy

Regrettably, you chose to forget
You rejected me
You rejected my help
And faded into soliloquy

But here I am now
With so many words left unsaid
And feelings that barely describe how we feel

You could've stayed
You could've tried
But unfortunately
You even had the audacity
To tell me that you loved me

And now
There's nothing left to say
