Chapter 1 : The new greenie

One month later.

You were in the garden and picked up some fruits like apples or pears.

You finally got used to the situation, that you were a part of the glade and finally one of the gladers. Sadly, the others still called you greenie which annoyed you because you remembered your name after a week you spent in the glade.

So you couldn't wait until the next greenie arrived and to call him a greenie.

Today was that day.

You were really excited and you hoped that another girl will have joined the glade.

Today it was really hot. The sky was totally blue and you couldn't see any clouds.

It was the third day that it was so extremely hot and terrible for you. You couldn't wait to see the rain again. You were deep in thought.

Suddenly a loud noise turned on. You startled, turned around and saw Minho who looked at you: "(Y/N)! Get your butt over here and welcome our new greenie!"

You laughed as you heard your name. "Finally"

You didn't care about the rain anymore and started running to the box. Your hands were full of soil, you sighed.

"There you are, ex-greenie," Minho laughed and punched your shoulder. "Hey, stop calling me greenie. He or she is the next."

During the month you felt comfortable when you spent your time with Minho, all in all you could say that he a friend of yours.

"That's why I'm calling you ex-greenie, ex-greenie."

"Haha..." and you punched him softly in his stomach. "Ouch..."

Alby opened the box and yes, it was true. There was a person sitting there.

"A boy," he said emotionless and jumped inside of the box.

You rolled your eyes, you'll be the only girl for the next month... hurray. Anyways, you were excited that there was a new person and how he was.

So, you went closer to the box and looked down. You saw a boy with blonde hair. He seemed to be really confused. He looked up very sceptically and he breathed heavily.

You remembered your time in the box. A cold shiver ran down your back.

You saw Alby how he reached his hand to the newbie but he didn't grab it. He looked at him really angry. "Don't touch me," he shouted and stood up on his own.

When Alby and the greenie came out of the box, the newbie looked at us. He frowned.

At first you thought he was cute. His brown eyes and his tousled dark blonde hair made you feel attracted to him but when you saw his angrily and sceptically view over his face, you didn't know what you should think about him.

You remembered when you came out of the box. Minho told you that you looked like that you would have started crying. Luckily you didn't.

"Well... hello, greenie. Hello to your glade," Alby said to the newbie. He didn't seem to be confused about the reaction of the greenie. You guessed that everyone reacted like him.

"Where am I?" he asked, still frowning and looked at Alby.

"As I told you, in our glade."

"Who are you?"

"Well, I am Alby, this is Frypan, George, Ben, Winston, Minho,Gally and (y/n)."

"What do you want from me?"

"Well... uhm. Nothing but I can tell you that you might spend the rest of your life in your cute little glade," Alby said with an ironical undertone.

"For the rest of my life?"

"Yep."

"You mean forever?"

You rolled your eyes. He seemed to be dull.

"Are you kidding me?" The newbie got angrily.

"Calm down, shank... You'll get into it," Minho interposed laughing.

You decided that you don't like him. He seemed really moody to you what you didn't really like. He was a bit like Alby, you realized.

Well, Alby looked really annoyed. "Okay, greenie you will-"

"I'll do nothing for you! Okay? I don't know who you are and I don't want to do anything for you?" The newbie interrupted him.

"Well, greenie. You have to. Otherwise you will go into the maze and join the cute grievers. I guess they would be really happy if someone like you will join them"

"Forget it. I'll do nothing, douchebag..."

Alby stepped towards him, hold him by his shoulders and shook him strong. He looked at him with a bad eye.

"You have to do this shank. Otherwise you will die. Okay? Do you want to die?"

The greenie shook his head. He seemed to be frightened. "N-no.."

"Good..." Alby hissed, pushed the newbie and he fell on the ground.

"(Y/N)! Show him around and take care that he goes out of my sight, okay?"

You looked at the newbie, his eyes were closed and seemed to suffer in pain.

"(Y/N)! Did you listen to my words?"

You still starred at the boy.

"Yes, I'll take care for him..."
