He looked terrible.

I would say he's been crying. But why?

I just shrugged it since the class started.

A lot of people, mostly my friend think I'm out of my mind, but I have to admit I like math, science and physics all that jazz.

It's just who I am, I can't help it.

Now we had physics, but since I already learned about the stuff our teacher is trying to get into students' minds back at home, I decided on day dreaming.

*at lunch*

I got my lunch in the cafeteria and sat down at our hang out table.

Soon Shawn, Sarah, Lucy, Emily and the Jacks came.

We were all just chatting with each other, when I heard Matt's name being called.

"Matt!" I'm guessing one of his jocky friends called.

Something caught my attention. Matt...

He sat down on a bench away from everyone. Alone.

What the heck!? I thought.

Everyone in our little 'gang' already noticed my absence in our conversation, so they decided to drop it.

"You should go talk to him. He's been like that the whole day. He hasn't talked to anyone." Lucy said concerned yet emphasizing 'whole' and 'anyone'.

I simply nodded and got up.

I sit down next to him. He didn't react. Not one bit.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I ask quietly.

He just kept eating his sandwich. His bites were small and his face expression... lifeless.

"Come on... You can talk to me." I speak concerned. He did look like he cried before physics class.

"Why do you care?" he suddenly snapped.

Woah there dude! Hold your attitude bro.

I was shocked and stayed silent.

"Exactly, no one cares about me." he said and walked away.

I looked at my friends that are now shocked too.

The rest of school was just boring classes, although I haven't seen Matt ever since that little talk at lunch.
