Jerrimiah's Point of View

Mac kept staring at me like I was a wild animal, or something. Probably cause I'm too jumpy after we had just been called out by the teacher. The reason why I'm so happy is because we succeeded in making Leah jealous.

After having enough of me kicking her chair because of excitement, Mac turned around and glared at me. "Please tell me: WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!"

The whole class turned around to hear what I had to say. Honestly, I liked the attention, but Mac seemed to hate it.

"I'm just happy!" I shot at her.

"Well could ya NOT kick my chair?" she yelled.

"Sorry," was all I could say. She turned around with the rest of the class who did not seem to be impressed by the quick drama.

Before we knew it, the bell rang and we were all packing our stuff to get ready to for the next class. Mr. Parkour hated us leaving right after the bell rings so he stopped us. "HEY! THE BELL DOES NOT DISMISS YOU, I DO! SIT DOWN, NOW."

We all sat down for like a second and then he was like, "Ok, now you can leave."

Mac scrambled out the door probably embarrassed to be seen with me but I quickly caught up with her. I grabbed her arm and pulled her back with me. "Alright, so what's the next plan?" I asked while walking side by side in the hall.

"Well, we can invite them to a double date or somethin' then brag," she replied.

"I like that," I mumbled, looking at the ground. The second bell rang indicating we were to be in class by now. We were, again, the only ones in the hall meaning we were late.

By the time we got to class, the teacher was waiting by the door for us. "So, Jerrimiah. My least favorite student. Why are you late to class?"

That's right. Mrs. Pinocchio hates me because I'm always "disrupting" her class. It's not my fault all the girls like to stare at me all day.

Mac sat there speechless because she wasn't usually late to class so she had no excuse. "Uh..."

"Because the bell doesn't tell me to go to class, I do!" I quoted.

She looked at me and frowned. "I do say that, don't I. Have a seat, Mr. Walker..."

The class period went by quickly and the bell rang. We left our things in the room and walked to the cafeteria.

Mac's Point of View

As we got in line for lunch, the lunch ladies were washing their hands and preparing to serve us food. Jerrimiah looked as if he had stepped in dog poop while staring at one lady. He tapped me frantically with his eyes still glued on the lady.

"Ew, look at her crusty hands," he whispered to me so I was the only one who heard him.

I chuckled. "Haha, you're wrong for that." I nudge his arm playfully.

He then sticks his tongue out at me. We get our food and I make my way towards the table I sit at everyday. I'm stopped by a firm hand which spins me around to see big brown eyes looking into mine. "Hey, come on. Sit at my table."

I don't even get a chance to answer before he practically drags me to the table. He introduces me to his friends as his girlfriend, and I don't know why, but my heart flipped. No, I am most definitely NOT getting feelings for the playboy. It's just part of the plan.

"Mac, this is Danny and Jay. Jay, Danny, this is Mac, my girlfriend." He emphasized on the word 'girlfriend' and rubbed my back.

"Hi," I greeted. Jay waved at me but Danny was a different story.

"Yo yo yo! You're dating my best friend, eh?" he asked, pointing over at him, who was now devouring his pizza.

"Yea," I simply say before I take a bite out of my PP&J. Danny nods and also starts to eat his food. By the time we're all finished on our chow down, we have 10 minutes left on the clock so we choose to talk the rest of the time.

The rest of the day went by rather quickly and Danny and Jerrimiah decided to drop me off at my house. Jay said he has to do homework so he can't make it.

While walking to my house, Danny kept glancing over at my chest occasionally. "What?" I ask after catching him and folding my arms over my chest.

"Huh?" he says, embarrassed. He looks away and covers his face with his two hands to hide blushing and walks into a bush of bees.

They start chasing him as he screams and attempts to swat them away. "AGHHHH SOMEONE HELP ME!" he yelled running around the neighborhood.

"Just stand still and they won't get you!" I called over to him.

"Bullsh!t, that's ain't gonna work! They're gonna think I'm a freakin statue and stay on me forever!" He said, still running around.

I glanced over to my right and saw Jerrimiah laughing his butt off at his best friend. "Haha! Stop... Danny... I can't.... Breathe!" He laughed while holding his stomach.

After he got tired of laughing his head off, we decided to leave him and keep walking to my house. "Thanks for walking me to my house, Jerrimiah," I say waving off.

Jerrimiah winks at me and blows a kiss. "Bye, babe," he says. I fangirl over that last word, 'babe'.

Am I falling for the player again?

No.

Maybe...

No, Mac. You're not falling for the player.

Ugh!

I need some rest.

I pull myself away from my thoughts and twist open the door to my house. I'm greeted by my brother cooking eggs.

"Hey, Mac," he greets, waving.

"Hi. Making eggs at 4:00 in the afternoon I see," I say, chuckling softly to myself.

"Hey, it's called brunch," he defends himself. I laugh at him and walk to my room. When I get there I find myself plopping face first into my bed. I roll over and think,

Does Jerrimiah really like me or is he just saying that for the act?

You're ruining yourself.

No.

Scratch that.

He's ruining you. He's just a player. Like I said before, once a player, always a player and that'll never change.

I hate him.
