He replied with a smug smile. "Yes."
---------------------------------
"Ok, my turn," I stated. I thought about a good question that I actually needed to know so we could get started with the tutoring. I put my hand on my chin in thought for dramatic effect.
"Aha! I got it!" I yelled. "What subject do you need help in the most?"
He sat there for no more than half a second before shrugging and answering, "All of them."
I did a mega face palm in reaction to his words. Only, it was in my head.
"Alright. After tutoring, you'll have all As and Bs in your classes."
"Well, now that you're getting to know me, I have another question: How long have you loooved me," he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't love you," I huffed. "I used to like you, but that was before I knew your were a player."
"What a liar. You know you love me." He immediately got up and started to take off his jeans. I stopped him before he got the satisfaction of teasing me.
"Um, no need for that," I said hesitantly.
He laughed for a good 20 seconds, then pulled up his pants.
"I saw your face turn red like a ripe tomato. That's how I know you still like me, if not love," he said between laughs, pointing at my face.
"Urgh!" I yelled. "I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear that. Anyway, what days are you free so we can-"
"Why, so you can ask me out on a date," Jerrimiah interrupted, wriggling his brows.
I said in anger, "Oh my goodness! Does everything you say have to deal with me liking you?"
"Then why were you asking me if I was free?"
Did he really just ask that?
"I. Am. Your. Tutor," I said, acting as if he was a 4 year old child learning how to make sentences.
He just huffed and looked away. I was really starting to regret agreeing to teach him.
"To answer your question, I'm available every Tuesday and Thursday after school."
"Well then, we meet every Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours.

I jumped off the steps on his front porch, almost falling and breaking a bone. Just as I was about to leave, Jerrimiah stopped me.
I turned around to see what he wanted from me, and saw him holding something in his hand.
He said, "You dropped something." He handed me a square object, which appeared to be a phone.
I thanked him and took the phone from his palm.
Then, I walked away. I didn't really know my way to my house from here, only because I never came across this street on my way to my home.
I punched in my address on my device then took that route home.
When I got there, I plopped on my bed and wrapped myself in the covers, like a caterpillar wrapped in a cocoon before it turns into a butterfly.
