This kid hates me.
-------------------------

I ran to the classroom down the hall, on my left hand side. I stopped for a breath, then sat in the back of the room.

J'adore le français. That means I love French in French.

Although, there is one thing I hate about this class: They take my favorite movies and translate them in the language. Then we have a quiz on it. Geez, do you have to be so hard on me?

All throughout class, I was daydreaming about you-know-who. I can't stop thinking about the death glare he shot at me. I mean, we're in crowded halls, what do you expect?

So deep in my thoughts, I hadn't noticed Mr. Parkour calling my name.

"Mac," He called sweetly.

"Mac," his tone started to get a little stiff...

"Earth to Mac!"

"MAC VANDERSCUFF!"

I snapped out of my thoughts to answer him.

"Yes, sir?" I answered.

"What is the answer to the question?" he asked, tapping his foot.

I wasn't paying attention, but I had to give it a shot.

"Um, 21?" I questioned.

The man sighed and bowed his head in disappointment. "Was that supposed to be a joke?"

"No sir," I replied.

Mr. Parkour said, "Good, because it wasn't funny. Ms.Vanderscuff, this is french class not math. See me after the bell rings."

Great, now another teacher I have to arrive late to.

After 45 long minutes, the bell finally rang. As instructed, I went to Mr. Parkour.

"Sir?" I asked, clenching my books on my chest.

"Mac, you're a smart student, and you know that. But what you did in class was not smart at all." He stated. "Now, what were you dreaming about?"

I was not about to tell him. That is way too embarrassing.

"Oh nothing." I said.

"Hm, ok. Get it together, Vanderscuff, get it together. You are dismissed."

I did a little victory dance before I left, because I was half expecting him to give me a detention slip or something. I danced out of the room and went to my last class, P.A. (Project Adventure).

Now.

I walked with the class to the cafeteria. Then, I stopped and sat down at the end of the table.
I waited for about 15 minutes and no one showed up. Just as I was about to get up and call my mom to pick me up, a tall figure came towards me. It was Jerrimiah. He did not look pleased to see me.
