Sir, we should leave now, it will be too risky if we stay here longer. My butler said.
Sure thing, is my things packed up? I asked him.
Yes, Sir Daniel. Shall we go? He asked me in return.
Yes. I said.
He led the way and we climbed on board our private van and went to our family mansion.
After a few hours, nakarating na rin kami sa mansion namin. Sinalubong nila ako sa main gate ng mansion, which is very odd kasi may pabanda pa silang nalalaman. Ang dami ring guests that came, but I couldn't find Dria anywhere.
I wanted to go to Dria, right now pero...hindi eh, I'm so nervous tsaka, I have to entertain and accomodate the guests.
Son! Good thing, nakauwi ka na rin, so..how was business school? Dad asked me.
It was good. I learned a buch of new stuff about business and others. I said.
Well, that's great, DJ. Now that you're here, pwede mo nang patakbuhin ang kompanya natin, am I right? Dad asked me again.
Yes, of course. I said.
He bid goodbye kasi may meeting pa daw sya kasama si Mr. Ong, a business partner of Dad.
I just chatted with the guests and saw Enrij and Rob drinking some wine in their table, nilapitan ko sila and bro-hugged them too.
Pare! It's so nice to see you! It's been years, right? Enrij blurted na halatang may alcohol na sa ulo nya.
Right. I laughed.
Dude, have you heard anything about kay Dria? I really want to see her. I asked Rob. Because, obviously I can't talk to Enrij rightfully.
Oh yes, may lakad sila ni Tito. Kaya hindi sila nakapunta. Rob said.
Ah ganun ba, sige dadalawin ko na lang sila bukas. Sina Eliza at Nadine nga pala? I asked.
Parating na daw sila, nagtext sakin si Nadine. Rob said.
Oo nga pala, Rob, nabalitaan kong nagpoprose ka na pala kay Nadine? I asked him.
Yup, I'm ready to tie the knot with Nadine. He answered back.
Grabe, nagmatured na talaga kami, ikakasal na sina Rob at Nadine soon...
Ikaw, Enrij? What's with you and Eliza? I asked Enrij.
Well, we are doing fine, my friend! Girlfriend ko na sya, pare! Enrij said.
Wow. Kami na lang pala ni Dria yung hindi "us".
Congrats! I answered back naman.
We just chatted and chatted for a few minutes, then dumating na sina Eliza and Nadine.
DJ! Welcome back! Eliza said, then she hugged me at tinabihan naman si Enrij.
Long time no see, De Padilla! Nadine said, she then also sat beside Rob.
Sige, maiwan ko muna kayo dito, let's chat again some other time, may gagawin pa ako eh. I said, they also bid goodbye and I went to my table.
ELIZA'S POV:
Hon, tama na yung wine! Alam mo naman na high-tolerance ka eh! I said, habang inaagaw yung glass kay Enrij.
Pano ba naman, high tolerance nga sya eh pagdating sa alcohol.
