Four

Shane drives me back home after taking the pictures in and me making a statement again.
We sitting outside in his car and I'm looking at my house I was scared to go home which was a horrible feeling I turn and look at Shane
"Can you come in with me?" I ask him
"Sure" he nods opening the car door getting out
We walk to the door and I open it and we walk inside and I turn lights on
"Want me to check the house?" He asks
"Please" I say and he takes off checking downstairs he clears downstairs and goes up stairs
"All okay" he said walking into the kitchen
"Thank you" I said leaning on the counter "would you like a drink?" I ask him hoping he would say yes as I didn't want to be on my own
"Sure why not a soda be good" he said I nod my head and open the fridge getting two sodas out and I hand him one
I walk into the living room and sit on the sofa and Shane sits next to me
"Shall I put the telly on?" I ask Shane as the was an awkward silence between us
"Up to you girl" he said opening the can
I pick up the remote pushing the button before putting it back down
I sit on the edge of my sit and I was nervous I was nervous because I knew Shane was going to go soon I didn't want to be on my own the thought made me feel sick.
"Look I really gunna have to go " Shane said getting up I instantly got up looking at him
"Shane don't go I can't be here on my own" I beg almost "please don't leave me, I can't be here in this place on my own"
"Sarah be back soon" Shane said
"Yeah but it hasn't stopped the freak before"
Shane looks at me and nods agreeing to stay

I lay get into bed and lay there with the bedroom light on I was to scared to sleep in the dark I felt pathetic like some five year kid who was scared of the monster under her bed I lay there and I huff out I look at the time seeing it was nearly midnight, I couldn't sleep every time I closed my eyes my heart beat fast through fear.
I get up and I walk downstairs seeing Shane laying on the sofa
"Hey" he said noticing me
"Hey" I said standing looking at him
"Can't sleep?" He asks me I shake my head "no I can't every time I close my eyes fear builds up in me" I walk over to him and I stand there
"Shane look I know this is crazy but would you come sleep with me" I ask him nervously holding out my hand "I'm not suggesting sex but I can't be in my own in my bed"
Shane looks at me and nods his head accepting my offer.
We turn the lights off downstairs and walk up stairs and I climb into bed and Shane removes his too before turning of the light and getting in bed laying next to me

I lay there facing him as he lays in his back and I listen to him breath the sound was comforting and I slowly close my eyes and drift of to sleep.

I'm laying there asleep and I hear laughing I open my eyes and there was a mask it was white it was freaky staring right at me I jump up screaming
I scream out opening my eyes and the bed side light goes on and I sit up in bed crying Shane grabs me pulling me close when my bedroom door opens and I see Sarah
"Sorry I didn't know you had company"
She said referring to Shane in my bed
"It's okay" I said wiping tears away from my cheek
"You okay?"
I nod at her and she closes my door Shane lays down pulling me with him and I lay on his bare chest
"Sorry if I scared you" I whispered
"It's okay" he said rubbing his hand up and down my arm "wanna talk about it"
"Just a dream, was creepy that's all"
"Your safe Brooke I'm here" he said I close my eyes and with seconds I fall back to asleep
