Chapter 45: Jealousy Takes Over?

Liz POV***

I look up to find Erick staring at me.

We just make eye contact for a while until he finally decided to speak up.

"So who where you texting? It looks like it was some good news" he said.

Oh shit.

"Yeah, there was some good news" I quickly said.

"What is it? If you don't mind me asking" Erick said.

"Is a surprise" I said.

"Surprise for?" He asked.

"For Alex's birthday, I'm planning something big" I said.

"Yay!" Alex yelled all excited.

"But first you need to start school" I said.

"Awee" Alex said looking down.

"Maybe next week though" I said.

"Yay!" Alex said excited again.

"But I still need to have schools in mind" I said looking at Erick.

"Why won't you homeschool him?" Erick asked.

"Nah, I want my prince to meet people and have friends and have girlfriends" I said winking at Alex and he winks back.

Erick POV****

I knew she was lying I knew she was texting him.

I have to make my move on her. She can't get with Joel, I need to make her mine first.

"Mommy I need to go to pee pee" Alex whined.

"I will take you" she said.

They got up and I got up as well.

"Let me go with y'all" I said.

We walked to where the restrooms where at. Alex walks in leaving me and Liz outside.

"Liz" I said.

"Mande?" She asked smiling at me.

"There is a chance joel got that girl pregnant." I quickly said.

Her smile faded.

"What?" She asked.

"I talked to that girl and she said he didn't use protection when they were doing it" I awkwardly said.

"Ohh" she awkwardly said.

"She didn't like it when he went up to her and ask her for a break up and she will do anything to hurt you, Alex and take Joel away from you"

I knew I have to lie about me had talk to that girl. I don't even know that chick. I don't even know if she is going after them, probably she will, do I have to worry about that too?

Liz stood there quiet for a while probably thinking.

"I can't risk that" Liz finally said.

"See, try not to fall for Joel's little game" I said.

I'm not even sure if he even have a game.

" I won't" she said.

After that Alex came out of the restroom and saw liz was feeling down.

"Mommy let's go home" he said.

"Why?" She asked him.

"Because obviously you're not in a mood for this" Alex said.

For a Alex just be a kid he is overprotective and takes care of his mom a lot. He looks after her, And really smart too.

"No chaparro, I'm fine" she said fake smiling him.

"Are you sure?" He ask her.

"Yes I'm sure" she said smiling at him.

"Alright" I finally speak up.

"Should we go in?" I asked.

"Yeah sure" I heard both of the say.

"Let's go" I said.

*****skipping the movie*****

We went out of the cinema. I had to carried Alex because he had fallen sleep.

"Liz" I said looking at her.

"Mhhm" she said.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine" she smile looking at me.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, I had fun. the Movie was funny." She said.

We had watched Kung Fu Panda 3.

"Yeah it was a good movie" I said.

"Your English got better" she said.

"Well is been five years since you left us" I said.

"Yeah, I'm sorry but the organization wanted me in LA so I moved there." She said.

"Why didn't you told us?" I asked.

"I don't know maybe I didn't wanted to be found" she said looking down.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I don't know, I didn't thought it would be a big deal" she said not looking up.

"Ayye" I said while grabbing her hand and pull her back.

I Let go of her hand so I can touch her cheek.

Because I only had one hand free since Alex was still in my arms.

"I care about you a whole lot. Don't you ever think it ain't a big deal" I said making eye contact with her.

She looks into my eyes.

"Erick"

She was about to say something else but I started leaning in, I saw her leaning in as well.
