Happiness beats loneliness
Yet I often find they are one and the same
It’s a strange kind of sadness
That makes me smile and forget my pain
My mind can be so harsh and relentless
But sometimes it will be so tame
Well so much for loneliness
I’m overcome by happiness
I no longer want to keep to myself
Stuck up on a dusty old shelf
Lost and forgotten in the company of my own mind
So now it’s time to leave it all behind
I’m walking along with a smile on my face
I think I’ve found my amazing grace…
