Such crushing disappointment
Born from a lighter sentiment
Has once again left me broken
And again in my eyes you have fallen
But you shouldn’t wallow in despair
For you know that there are those that care
I surprise myself with the depth of my feeling
And though by rights it should send me reeling
I still want to do good
