Chapter 56 - Maybe We'll Make It After All

I went to the door as Sage opened the window and I gave her a huge hug,

"Have fun you guys!"

I said as they both smiled as we all waved to them as the car started to drive off.

"So your best friend is finally married!"

Ashton said as we both took a sip of our champagne, we were at the after party for James and Sages wedding that her mom hosted.

"I can't believe it! I remember yesterday when she said that she never wanted to get married or wear a frilly dress."

I said as Ashton smiled at me,

"Just think about it; you will be probably get engaged soon. I know he's ready to pop the question, so then you'll be the next person who is walking down that isle."

He said making me happy,

"But who will walk me down the isle?"

I asked him as he put down his glass,

"Me obviously!"

I laughed as I took another sip of my drink,

"I gotta go see my girl but I'll see you soon okay?"

He said as I gave him a hug,

"No problem Ash, see you later!"

I said happily, this was a great day so far!

"Oh and look, here comes Prince Charming himself."

Ashton said as I looked to see my man walk towards me,

"That was some wedding, right?"

He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close,

"Yeah it was, thanks for walking her down the isle."

I said locking our lips together and closing the small gap in between us,

"Get a room you two!"

Luke said as he walked by us, we both laughed as I passed him a glass of champagne,

"Why don't we go say hello to Perrie?"

He said as I nodded my head, we slowly walked towards her.

"Hey Pezza."

He said as she lightly smiled at him, he kept a tight grip on my hand.

"Hey Louis, it's nice to see you two together."

She said as I could tell it still hurt her that we decided to stay together and try to work things out. I am glad that we did because I really don't know if I could have done it without Louis by my side.

"It's nice to see you too Perrie."

He smiled at her,

"Well we will see you later. I need to talk to Roxy alone for a minute."

She nodded her head,

"It was nice to see you guys."

I flashed her a smile as she walked away. I quickly looked to see if Louis would watch her as she walked away. To my surprise, he was looking directly at me.

"Why are you staring at me like that."

My cheeks flushed as he grinned,

"You are just extremely beautiful."

He said as he pulled a strand of my hair behind my ear,

"You're looking pretty handsome yourself in that tux."

I played with the bow tie as I pulled him closer to me and gently kissed his lips.

It felt so perfect and I feel like I made the right decision. I might have hurt some people but we were all going to be hurt in the end with whatever decision we made.

"Were you alright with Perrie being here?"

Louis surprised me with that question because I know that sage has become closer to Perrie ever since the tour!

"Yeah I'm fine, i just wish she can find someone you know? So she could get over you and I wouldn't feel like I hurt her."

He placed his hand on my cheek,

"You already know that you and I are going be together for a long time and the decision has been made. If you don't truly love somebody, why should you be with them?"

He did have a point, I nodded my head as I grabbed a cookie from the dessert table,

"I think I'm getting kind of tired."

I said to Louis,

"Okay well we will head on home then."

I smiled as he wrapped his arm around me and lead me to the car. I'm really happy to have him in my life. We have been through a lot these past few years and I'm sure neither of us was going to let that go easily. Maybe we will make it after all.

HEYYYYYYY! So this book is done and I decided to write another book from this book (so like a trilogy) it will be another sequel! So you get to see how things went! As usual I found a song that strongly inspired me to write the book (it happened for me with what if and maybe we'll make it after all!) so next chapter is the soundtrack and then we are done guys!!!
