Chapter 52 - Stone Cold

She looked at me surprised,

"What?"

She asked me surprised,

"The feelings are mutual."

I said as she sat back down next to me,

"But you're with Roxy..."

She said disappointedly,

"I know but you never know what may happen. I care about you a lot and I want you to be happy."

She nodded,

"I want you to be happy too Lou."

She said as the tears started to fall from her eyes,

"I know you do and we can always be friends Perrie."

I said knowing that it would break her heart,

"I-I know, it's just going to take some time for me. Right now is not the best time."

She admitted as I agreed with her, I mean she just broke up with Zayn because of me. I wish I could be there for her but it would just make things worse. I hope she will be okay. I really do want her to be happy, I'm just sad that I can't because my feelings for Roxy are stronger.

I got up as I held her face in the palm of my hand,

"If you need me, I will always be here. Don't hesitate to call me."

I said as I gently kissed her forehead and walked out the door. It kills me to know that I added more fuel to the flame that is already burning. I will need to make sure someone is there for her... Maybe I can ask Roxy to go check on her... Or Sage since she can actually talk to her about me! Ok I'm gonna find them.

-Michael's POV-

I was waiting for Roxy to come to the park to see me. I set out a picnic with all of her favourite foods and a nice sweet wine for us.

I saw her approach me as she sat down,

"Hey."

I smiled as she approached me,

"What is all of this?"

She asked me gesturing towards the picnic basket as she sat down and opened it.

"It's a picnic so we could talk and eat at the same time."

I said hoping that she won't runaway and let me explain.

"Okay so explain yourself Michael Clifford."

She said as I took a deep breath and said everything that I had to.

-Sage's POV-

I was heading out of the door to see James. I really wanted to see my baby since we didn't spend much time together. We planned our wedding date for 2018 because we both want to enjoy the engaged life before things get chaotic. Woof, it's going to be tough.

I heard my phone ring as I answered it without looking at who it was.

"Hello?"

I answered,

"Hey Sage how are you?"

Louis asked me as I knew he didn't care and needed my advice,

"Just tell me what's up?"

I said as he laughed,

"I love how you know me so well."

I sarcastically laughed because I use to hate him,

"I need your advice on Roxy and Perrie."

He caught me off guard when he added Perrie in the equation,

"Why Perrie?"

I asked him,

"Because she likes me and I have feelings for her too. Zayn left the band because she broke up with him and he's tired of my 'bullshit'"

Louis said as I got in to my car,

"So you are saying that you have feelings for both Perrie and Roxy and now you feel like you have to chose?"

I heard Louis sigh on the other end of the phone,

"Yeah I do but I don't know. I love Roxy so it's not a choice, it's just something I want and I'm not breaking things with her for Perrie. I don't see why I should."

What an oblivious idiot, I can tell that he is debating between them two and won't admit it to me.

"Okay well it seems like you have got your mind figured out there Louis. I don't understand why you called me if you already know what you want."

I said as I rolled my eyes,

"I just wanted to know if you could go see Perrie to make sure that she's okay. I mean, I would do it but she told me she needed space from me to get over me."

I really wanted to spend time with James but if Perrie needs me, then James can wait another night.

"Yeah sure i will be there for her. Thanks for looking out for her Louis."

I smiled and turned my car around to go to Perrie's.

"No, thank you Sage. Please let me know how she's doing."

I nodded my head,

"Sure thing."
