A/N: Wrote this story because I was listening 'Please Don't Go' by Joel Adams. Love this song! None of this is real. Hope you enjoy this short story and the song!

Ant's POV

Nobody ever knows. Nobody ever sees.I left my soul, back there now I'm too weak. Most nights I pray for you to come home. Praying to the Lord. Praying for my soul. You are my soul. You're a part of me. Now that you're gone, I have no soul. I think of you when I'm alone! Lisa! Please don't go!

Ant's Flashback

"I can't do this anymore, Ant. Our love is not the same anymore. There's no spark or anything in our love. Only arguments. I'm done fighting for a loveless relationship" with that said Lisa left our house with her suitcase in hand.

I stood in the hallway of the front door. Tears flooded my eyes and I fall to the floor. The women of my life left. How can she say our relationship is loveless? I LOVE her. I really do! She's my ONE. She's my match made in heaven. She's my true love. Now she's gone...

Flashback End

Third person POV

Two weeks has gone since Lisa left. No one knows that Lisa left Ant. Dec is coming to Ant's place.

"Ant? Are you home? Ant?" Dec yells out as he came in through my front doors. He sees there's empty alcohol bottles laying around. He scans the house and see its clean but there's a lot of empty bottles laying around. He calls out for Ant again as he came to the lounge room. "AANNTT! Are you home? Look man, I haven't seen you in ages! Are you okay?"

"NO!" Dec was startled by Ant when he popped out from couch. Dec can smell the heavy liquor in Ant's clothes and breath.

"Youse scared us there. What happened to you? What's the matter?" Decs walks over to the other side of the couch to sit next to his best mate. Ant give a little hiccup. Tears starting fill his eyes. Ant drops his bottle of beer and cupped his face with his hands and cried heavily. This shocked Dec to see the sight of his best mate in tears. Dec immediately wrapped his short muscular arms around Ant's back and pulled him close to him. Ant cried on Dec and Dec felt bad for his best mate.

"Sshhhh. It's gonna be okay. I'm here. Ssshhh." Dec tries to calm Ant. "Take a couple of deep breath and tell me what happened to my Anty."

Ant did was he was told and sat up to look at Dec. "S-she left us. S-she's gone." Ant cupped his face again and tears streamed down his face a again.

"What? Calm down now Ant. We'll figure this out together but I need you to calm dow-" "HOW CAN I? HOW C-CAN I CALM D-DOWN WHEN MY LISA IS GONE!" Ant shouted cutting off Dec before he can finish.

Dec pulled Ant's head to his shoulders and hugged him. Ant forcefully cried on his best friend's shoulders. Dec was starting to tear up a little because he hates seeing his friend this upset. Hours went by and they remain the same, Ant crying on Dec's shoulders and Dec hugging him. They stayed like this til Ant fell asleep. Dec gently pushed Ant off of him to lay him down on the couch. Dec went upstairs to Ant's bedroom to grab a small blanket. When he got to the he saw that the drawers are wide open and the closet was half empty. "Lise really did leave. Poor Anth." Dec shook his head. Dec grabbed the small blanket and went back down.

Dec covered Ant with the blanket and went to the kitchen. Dec sat in the kitchen thinking how he's gonna help both of his best friends. "I gotta get them back together. Lisa is probably depress about this too. I gotta help them. Don't worry Ant. You'll be back with your love. I promise!"

Dec declare this and walked back to the lounge. He looked around to see what to do. He decided to clean the place is a little bit. He headed back to the kitchen to grab a big trash bag. Back to the lounge, Dec picked up all the empty beer and wine bottles off the ground and into the bag. He picked up everything and place things back to the right place. When he came by Ant he saw a framed photo of Ant and Lisa. Both smiling at him, Dec couldn't resist smiling back at the photo. He took the picture and went to the bedrooms. There he changed the sheets of the bed and cleaned the whole room. Dec put a red cover sheet for the bed. He placed the picture of the happy couple on the nightstand by the bed.
