The fall musical seems to be coming into place until student director Clayton Stone finds out East High's star singer/actor is out for the season because she's undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. To make matters worse, their rivals, West High thespians, are forced to join their show due to a prolonged construction in the West High auditorium and the future drama club funding rests on how well this year's musical goes. Struggling with depression, Audrey Mcvey wants no part of this years musical, but her counselor convinces her to join the cast. Together East High's new drama team must learn to beat the odds against them.
