The promise made under the night sky

(Ayu's POV)

I'm gonna quit my career.

Those words pierced me like a sword. I push Jiyong slightly away, looking at him with sad eyes.

"Jiyong ah, you're not quitting your job."

He looks at me frusterated.

"Why?! I want to be with you Ayu! I want to live my life with you like we have before.."

I smile sadly.

"Its not the same anymore Jiyong ah....i'm also becoming an idol..."

I grab his hands.

"Jiyong ah, promise me that you won't quit your career."

"Ayu-"

"If you give up now, YG will win....we have to prove that we are the ones that aren't going to lose."

Holding his hands tightly, I wait for his reply.

Jiyong looks at the sky.

"The sky sure is pretty at night, isn't it Ayu?"

I look at him desperately.

"Jiyong ah, don't change the subject-"

"Promise me."

He pulls me towards him and hugs me.

He whispers in my ear.

"Promise me that you will meet me here, on a beautiful night sky, when we win, okay?"

I feel tears coming out of my eyes. I hug him tighter.

"Arasso. I promise."

He holds out his hand.

"Dojang?"

I hold out my hand as we press our thumbs together.

He smiles.

"There. Now it's sealed. Don't go back on the promise."

I nod.

"I guess, it's time for us to seperate now...." I say sadly

"Andwae! Not yet!" He says desperately.

I bite my lips trying not to cry again.

"Ayu ah, look at me."

I slowly tilt my face in his direction.

He gives me a kiss on both my eyelids.

He grins.

"There! Now my kiss on your eyes are sealed, so until our promise is over, you must never cry."

I laugh, wiping my tears.

"Mo yah..arasso ei pabo yah~"
(Translation: what the heck? Alright, I got it you idiot)

As I give him on last glance, we both turn our ways. I look at the sky, remembering our promise.

I won't cry, not anymore.

(GD's POV)

The next morning.

" hyung! Wake up!! You have a photo shoot soon!!" Seungri says bouncing up and down on my bed. Frusterated, I kick seungri's legs as he falls off the bed.

"Oww!!! I'm just trying to help!" He yells rubbing his butt from the impact.

"Leave him alone, looks like he wants to fail his career." Top says coming in the door.
