The newbe

I walk into Tiana's nursery and see one of the carers standing at the desk smiling at me.
"Hello sophie, How are you?" I ask the women with redish long straight hair, pale skin and blue eyes.
"Well i'm good but how are you and Tiana doing?" Sophie asks me while replying to me at the same time. Sophie takes tiana off of me and cradles her,
"Well things could be better, its a hard life with kids" i chuckle. She smiles and walks away after getting Tiana to wave goodbye, now i just need to get to work as i cannot afford to be late again.
I run out after signing Tiana in then swiftly slide into my car and slam the door shut while turning on the engine. It roared as I shot off and raced down the busy streets of London to work. As I stop at the traffic lights I check the time, "Shit, it's eight forty already?" I hiss to myself as I beep my horn trying to get the car in front who is acting like a moron due to the fact he is stopped in front of a green light.

Eventually he begins to move and I race to the large office building, I have my suit on and I already have my Bluetooth earpiece plugged into my ear. I take a sharp turn into the car park and race against the time looking for a space, they were all full except one that I drove straight into after doing this I grab the car keys and run out the car while locking it with the lock button on the keys.

I run into the building and to the front desk, "Sorry i'm late" I apologise to the lady at the front desk who is looking seemingly smart.

"Its fine Ms Blake" she says smiling, she quickly taps me in and nods at me to show that I can go straight to my office. My PA comes up to me bundled with files that are overflowing out of his arms,

"Miss Blake, I have your files for the up coming meetings with Mr Hank, Mrs Quinn and Ms Campbell" he searches for the files within the mass of files he has while catching a few papers that fall out.

"Thank you Mr Monroe I will be looking forward to seeing them later" I say speeding ahead to the lift, I was so looking forward to sitting down.

(After work)

I walk into the nursery and see Tiana staring at me with a large grin, "Hello baby" I say with a large smile as I crouch slightly to give her a kiss before signing her out and paying for the month she has been here for. I pick Tiana up while she is making bubbles with her spit and dribbling on me, "Thank you see later" I smile while leaving.

They call out bye to me while I leave, I get Tiana into her car seat and give her one of her teddies from the basket that is on the car floor in front of her seat, she squeals while shaking her teddy around in the air. I seat belt her in and close the door carefully then I get in the car and head off to the baby classes I had started about a week ago, it was just round the corner so it was pretty handy. I drive round and park outside.

we walk in with Tiana in my arms, I smile as the women ticks me off on the list of pictures she has. I walk into the small empty room that has just soft yoga mats for the parents and babies to sit on. I see some of the parents are here and they all seem to be smiling as per usual, I walk up to one of the parents and start chatting, asking questions and getting to know them all better, it would help to get advice on baby things as I am shit at it all.

"Hey" I say to a guy holding a baby,

"Oh hey, are you new here too?" he asks casually, his brown eyes examining my facial features and other details,

"Uh, you could say that, I started like a week ago so I guess i'm still new but not the newest" I chuckle nervously, he smiles as the baby he's carrying begins to laugh, the baby has pretty green eyes and messy chestnut brown hair. "so what's the little on called?" I ask smiling at the laughing baby.

"Oh this is James, He's a little monster a home but I guess I was too when I was young" he laughs, I smile as I look at Tiana who is now asleep in my arms.

"So what's your baby called?" he asks out of curiosity while raising an eyebrow.

"this is Tiana, I chose the name as the father wasn't around and still isn't" I sigh, he frowns a little and I just give him a friendly smile to show no harsh feelings.

"I'm sorry" he says politely "i know how that feels, the mother dumped ours in the living room leaving me to bring him up, apparently she's living life in L.A so while she's having fun I get to play with this one" He smiles while holding James hand and patting his back.

I guess it's nice now knowing I'm not the only one who's had something like this done to them, plus it's gotta hurt him more as the mother just left the baby in his house, not like mine who was left at the hospital with no real option but to look after her alone. "Hello every one please can you fin a mat and sit at it with your little bundle of joy." the leader calls out to us all as she sits on the slightly raised up platform with her baby in her lap. "so we are going to start off by learning how to help comfort and console your baby, we all know that a little massage from time to time can make a whole load of difference" She announces with a cheesy grin, you bet a massage is something you need from time to time, my back's killing me.

"Right so can you and your partner take turns in gently massaging your babies head" she orders us, well as my partner is ass and fucking left me at the hospital and never came back to me, I'm going to have to do this on my own. "No, no, no this will not do, Young man where is you partner?" she quiz's,

"Uh, I don't have one, we broke up a while back" he frowns, the room fills with silence as everyone takes a minute to appreciate the support they have.

"And you miss, where is your partner?" I looked at the guy and then looked at her then frowned. "Oh, well sir can you pair up with her that way we have pairs, you never know how much you can learn in pairs" she smiles politely. he glances at me then stands up baby in arms and walks over to me then sits himself on the mat next to me, I smile trying to make him feel less nervous as we cant have two nervous people I mean nothing will get learnt. I began to massage Tiana's head and after trying on Tiana we switched and I held James for the first time, he smiled and giggled while I massaged his soft and delicate head gently.

"Hey I never caught you name" he states to me as he looks up at me, I look at him for a split second and quickly answered.

"Louise, what about you?" I ask handing James back to the guy then taking my baby back.

"Jack, my name's Jack" he replies, so jack is his name, cool name I guess. we look at the instructor who is telling us more things that can help our 'Little bundles of joy' develop better.

I guess it would be nice to hang with him some time, I mean it's nice to have someone who has experienced what you've gone through. Isn't it?
