As we moved together, memories of before threatened my thoughts; but I easily shut them out of my head. It had become easier and easier to ignore my negative memories from before now that May was here to stay. This time though, was particularly different from those easier attempts, for I had only ever danced with one other visitor before; and that was Wendy.

I was snapped back to awareness as we began to float up, the fairies had voluntarily sprinkled some of their pixie dust on May and I.

May blushed once she realized I was done thinking. "Their voices are unimaginably reminiscing. It's hard to stay in touch with your surroundings." I knew she meant me.

I shook my head, a grin rising upon my lips. "Not when I'm dancing with you."

Before she could manage another sentence, I gently pulled her closer and our lips met. I could hear some of the pixies cheering around is as they sang their melodic tune, making me smile into May's lips. She quietly laughed as we pulled our lips away; but not our bodies. May lay her head upon my broad shoulder as we drifted in he air to the harmony of the fairies.

May's Point of View

My eyes were closed as I leaned on Peter's shoulder. I could have stayed like that all night; but I chose the wrong option, and I opened my eyes for a split second. And in that second, I saw someone standing in the shadows of the forest, watching us. I was about to alert Peter Pan, until I got a glance at the visitors eyes. I knew those eyes from a short encounter before.

Danny stood before us, aware that I could see his presence. He shook his head with a sly grin; his gaze moving from Peter Pan to I. Then he crossed his arms, and stepped back so Peter couldn't see him.

I searched the shadows for any other pirates Danny might have brought along to trap us with; but he seemed to be alone.

"Are you okay, May?" Asked Peter, who drew back to get a look at my facial expression. I nodded my head with a quick smile, avoiding telling him about the extra company we had. He ran a hand threw his hair with a chuckle, leaving it be. "We should go catch up with the boys. They'll be expecting be soon."

I took a quick glance towards where Danny stood, then let my gaze travel to the fairies in the trees. "You go ahead." I knitted my hands together and continued. "I'd like to watch the fairies for a little bit longer."

He raised his eyebrow, but didn't let his smile fade away. "I can't leave you all alone about this dark."

Just as I was about to give in and head back to the hideout, three small fairies circled around me and gave Peter Pan big smiles and waves. I laughed as they sat beside my shoulders.

"Look's like you won't be completely alone, Tink's friends seem to favor you." He stuck his finger towards the pixie still floating in the air. "You'll take care and guide her back home?"

The tiny, delicate fairy nodded her head and shook Peter's finger with both hands, in efforts to make a deal.

"Okay May, be careful." Peter put a hand on my shoulder to gesture that he was serious, and whipped around to fly away to the Lost Boys.

Almost at once, Danny popped his head out of hiding and approached me with ease. "I see you didn't take my advice."

I turned my body and crossed my arms, ignoring his presence. "Peter Pan is not who you say he is; stop trying to put thoughts in my head."

Danny's eyebrow rose in refusal. He walked a circle around me until he stood right in front of my face. "But still you worry and have your doubts, otherwise you would have ratted me out the first time you saw me."

My mouth opened to protest. "How dare you! You don't know me at all and had no right to make assumptions."

He slipped his arm onto my shoulders, almost like he was guiding me into seeing his way of thinking. "I am you, May. I was a visitor once, I thought he was my friend also; but thats just not the case." He sighed, stopping in his place towards the seas, where you could see Hooks ship harboring. "Now are you gonna' stick around to see it all come true? Or are you gonna' leave before it gets too serious and he hurts you for good?"

I forcibly turned away from him, hating taking part in this conversation. I felt like I was betraying Peter Pan and sneaking around behind his back. Never had he done a thing to me; and I wouldn't let a stranger, let alone one of his ultimate enemies, persuade me to hurt him.

"You're the one who left Peter Pan when he offered you his kind hand of friendship. You're the one who ran away, focused on your selfish desires rather than staying loyal. And you're the one who went against your friend and joined his arch enemy; Hook." I stepped forward, and took power of the persuasion. Danny was taken aback by my new found assertion, and he stepped back along with me. "Don't you dare tell me to betray the best person that has ever been in my life, just because you want to start trouble."

"Cool it down, May. It's your choice if you wanna' listen to me or not." He rose his hands up in defense.

"I don't want to talk to you." I concluded, stepping away to leave the area with the group of fairies leading my way.

"Seemed like the opposite, considering you purposely sent Peter off once you saw me." I turned around and was about to protest, but he put his hand to my lips and stopped me. "No need for that. Just know this; you have to pick a side, and it has to be soon. Because sooner or later, there will only be one left."

Danny's dark eyes studied mine, and he whipped around, disappearing into the bushes before I could say another word.

Did this mean Hook was planning something against Peter that was going to put him in danger? Were they going to battle soon? If so, I couldn't help but hint to Peter about this; not about Danny, but about the danger that may be on his way.

The pixies patted my shoulder, and grabbed tiny pieces of my hair to lead me back to the hideout, my home. It wasn't much, but it was everything to me; and if it was in danger, than that scared me.
