\kenzie POV/
I kept running until my legs started to hurt so I started to walk. I saw a small cafe building up ahead and walked over to the entrance and opened it. Some people looked at me like they were waiting for my parents to get here, I ignored them and walked (still limping a bit) over a table in the corner. I guess some of the people noticed that I came here alone, one lady called for a waiter and then I saw a guy with green hair walking over to the person who called for him. The lady was telling the waiter something then pointed to me, I looked down at the ground.

"Waiter!" I heard someone call, I turn around and walked over to the table, "yes ma'am?" I asked. "That kid walked in here all by herself" April said pointing to a girl with long brown hair with blue streaks and she was looking at the ground. I looked back at April and was about to say something when April said to the girl, "excuse me, miss?" April said nicely. The girl looked up and I could that she had two different colored eyes (one brown and one blue) and she had a few Scratch's on her face. "Would u like to sit here?" April asked politely. The girl looked like she was thinking about it then got up and walked over to us and sat down beside April, "you sit down too, Sean" April added. I sat down in the seat in front of the two girls. April looked at the girl, "so what's your name?" She asked. "Kenzie, what's your?" The girl asked. April smiled, "April" she said smiling. "I like that name!" Kenzie said. April smiled more making me smile, "thank u" she said. Then kenzie looked me and narrowed her eyes, "who is he?" She asked. "This is Sean but he likes to be called jack" April answered. Kenzie nodded and took out her hand to shake hands, I shook her hand. "So what do u want, kenzie?" April asked nicely. Kenzie looked at April with wide eyes and said, "you don't have to!" She said. April said she didn't mind, kenzie nodded and asked nicely for a donut and some chocolate milk. I nodded and got up and told the chief. Then came back and sat back down, we started talking until the chief came back and gave kenzie her food, kenzie said thank u and the chief nodded and walked off. While me and april were talking kenzie suddenly bursted out, "You're not going to take me back r u?" Me and april looked at each other, "take u back where?" I asked. Then the door to the entrance opened and I heard kenzie gasp. Me and april could both see the fear in kenzies eyes
