Someone once told me
"People are disposable."
But when you throw them away
You are discarding their feelings.
Their thoughts.
Their hopes.
Their dreams.
Their mind.
Their heart.
When you throw someone away
You throw away who they are
And leave them broken.
No trash can is large enough
To hold who I am.
To hold who you are.
For I am not truly disposable.
Neither are you.
We are merely forgotten.
Until found again
By someone new.
Someone who truly cares.
And will remember.
And with these words, I swear
I will always remember you.
