"Honestly Lou, just talk to him." Liam sighs, watching his dainty best friend stare off at Harry and his friends.

It's lunch time and Louis is hungry, but of course, not for food.

"What on earth would I say to him?" He asks, looking to Liam and then back at Harry, who is already looking at him.

Harry smirks and then turns back around, only too stand up and make his way towards the table in which Liam and Louis are sat at.

"Liam, he's coming, what do I do?" Louis panics, his eyes wide.

"Swallow." Liam gives the terrible advice, earning a hit on the arm from Louis.

"Hey guys." Harry smirks, sitting down in front of Louis, only glancing at Liam, it's obvious that Liam is very well not the reason Harry decided to stop by.

"Hi, Harry." Louis says, looking away from Liam, looking over at Harry. He wants to punch Liam in the face for getting up and leaving a few moments later.

"Your name is Lenie, right?" Harry asks, making Louis's heart drop right then and there. He doesn't even know his name.

"It's Louis." He corrects shyly, looking down now, biting his lip. Maybe he should have just said it was Lenie. He hates contradicting Harry. He's not sure if that's even considered contradicting though. He's thinking too hard, Harry makes him nervous.

On second thought, Louis is much better, he decides that Harry can live with a little contradiction.

"You got a boyfriend, Louis?" Harry asks, smirk still plastered on his face. Louis can't really pick out the reason for it though.

Louis furrows his eyebrows at Harry, then glances over at his group of friends who are glancing at the scene unfolding at their table. Why would Harry want to know if Louis was in a relationship? Is it some kind of humorless prank that he had discussed with his friends before making a beeline to Louis's table?

"Are you going to answer my question?" Harry asks, raising his eyebrow. God, he's so attractive. He finds everything about Harry attractive, he swears he's drooling at that very moment; In fact, every moment he spends staring at the curly-headed lad.

"No, no I don't." Louis finally answers after what feels like years. Face flushing with slight embarrassment over the time it took for him to come around with a proper answer to such a simple question.

"Good." Harry smiles and gets up, winking before striding off, back to his table with a bunch of his peers who more and likely put him up to asking Louis such a straight-forward question.

Louis isn't sure what had just happened, he wants to be glad it did, but instead he worries he is being made some sort of a joke to Harry and his friends. He'll probably never be anything more than a joke to Harry, but Hey; At least he was something, Right?

-

Since that day, Harry has noticeably been paying attention to Louis. He asks him for help on worksheets, which basically just end with Harry copying the answers off of Louis's paper. Harry flirts with him a lot too. Especially in their college Chemistry class. They sit next to each other on flimsy stools, Harry always seems to scoot closer to Louis's. Their legs touch and it sends such a beautiful feeling through Louis's body.

Louis shouldn't get excited, he knows that there is probably a reason Harry is deciding to become fond of him. He doesn't have reason to believe that it's completely unmotivated, but then again he doesn't have a reason to doubt Harry so much.

He just wonders; Why? Why has he all of the sudden showing such an interest?

It all feels too good to be true.

Louis hopes not. He hopes he's wrong.

"-then she was like 'Oh my god, Liam, We can't, it's too big.' I was so disappointed, she was so fit- Louis? Are you listening to me?" Liam asks, making Louis break eye contact with green eyes that stayed lurking on his face despite the break of eye contact.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Honestly." Liam sighs, "You guys are literally eye fucking each other, just do it already."

Louis frowns, looking over at Harry, who is laughing causally at something his friend said, then averts his eyes back to Liam, giving him his attention now, for the most part.

"He doesn't see me that way, and frankly-"

"Don't say that you don't blame him." Liam scoffs, "I swear half of the guys spend their time ogling you from a distance." He sighs, rolling his eyes. He so sick of Louis constantly putting himself down when he was no where near they way he saw himself; Ugly and pitiful.

Louis flushes, blushing as he looks at Liam, blinking a bit too fast, "Really?"

"Yes." Liam nods, chuckling, "No doubt about it, You are very fit, so yeah."

"You are such a liar." Louis laughs quietly, shaking his head, "There is nothing to ogle over, if anything they are just wondering if I have any spare lunch money they can punch out of me." Louis chuckles, shrugging. No, Louis wasn't bullied at all, but that is a lot more likely than the theory that any of these people spent anytime spanning their attention onto him.

"You're so ridiculous." Liam rolls his eyes, smiling amusingly. Liam ruffles Louis's hair and laughs a little.

"You know you love me, Li." Louis smiles proudly, All Liam can do is nod in agreement, he then looks over at Harry and smirks a little at the face Harry had painted onto him.

"Someone's Jealous." Liam chuckles, looking away from Harry and at Louis, "He's basically shooting me with that glare of his.

"Huh- Oh." Louis looks over to see Harry's dark glare. Eyes pouring into his own. Louis should find it ridiculous that Harry is so caught up over a little interaction between himself and his best friend, but if anything he finds it flattering that Harry is even wasting such an emotion on him.

"You really think he is?" Louis asks, looking back at Liam, "He has nothing to be jealous of though."

Liam chuckles, nodding in agreement, "Maybe you have more of a chance than you originally thought, Lou."

"Maybe." He hopes so, he really does.
