My whole body was aching. I was totally lost, but kept running and running. My heart was hammering on my ribs. I felt like as if my heart was going to burst any moment. Adrenaline rushing through my blood vessels, raising the fear level to a maximum. After all, that was how my body and mind reacted to the thugs running close behind me. A couple of people shouted at them and tried to stop. However, they were no ordinary thugs. They were cleverer than they looked.
The first thing I thought was that I always wanted to run and lose my weight. Maybe the time has come now. My destination was my school and I wanted to get there as fast as I could. I saw old man Jack closing his shop for the day. As sun set, the roads were getting busier than before. People were rushing home from offices or any other places. More vehicles had polluted the roads making it difficult for me to see ahead because of the lights. The noises of cars honking and people shouting really had slowed me down now. Still I ran for my dear life. I bumped into several people on the way. Someone had shouted bad names at me, but I didn't turn back to see who it was. I sprained my ankles hitting the side lights on the road. I didn't plan on running too long as I crossed the road in hurry some cars stopped and honked loudly making me jump in astonishment. I looked back to see the thugs slowing down because of my sudden move. Yes! I was safe!
Well not for long... when I had turned around one corner the leader of the thugs, Stefan was right in front.
'OK... this is my chance to show them what a kicker I am'
I dodged his first blow by inches and kicked his balls hard. He staggered back surprised and fell down moaning. I continued running until I lost sight of them.
Once I got inside the school, I stopped in front of the water fountain. I was breathing rapidly and unevenly. I even coughed several times to get my voice out shakily. There were students who looked at me with utter astonishment and others who just ignored. My eyes were stinging because of the sweat drops. I barely had time to swipe it all. Everyone was leaving and the school was going to be closed at about an hour later. Before that I had to take my school bag and books that I left. Even my planner was there. If it wasn't for that I would have gone straight home and forget about the bag. I could obviously take it the next day since I hadn't planned on doing my homework. I thought to take a shower at the girls changing room.
After 30 minutes I went to where my class was. At the corner of the school! Most of the classroom's lights were off but only 2 were on. My class... who could be there?
I went in to the room and gasped as I saw the scene in front of me. Larry, the womanizer in the school was pinning down my friend Ayase on the table. She was crying silently begging him to let go of her. He looked up suddenly realizing that I had walked to my desk. I took my bag and turned towards him. He wasn't the only one there... his fellow friends were even there. They all stood up as I turned around. I stared at everyone before resting my eyes on Ayase. She was such a cute nerd girl having d-cup breasts and a big butt. Her whole body was too attractive. Maybe that was the reason why Larry and his gang targeted her.
"Ayase?" I was solemn.
"Save me Sophie" Ayase pleaded.
"Another frail girl... lets have both of them" Larry smirked slyly.
"Prepare to be blown away" I said rolling up my sleeves as if ready to fight.
After 15 minutes Ayase and I were walking side by side to get home. The air was cold and I wished I had a jacket with me. It was freezing at night and I always slept on the sofa near the fire place. It wasn't even winter, but climate was changing.
"Are you sure they are going to be fine? They all look so dead" Ayase asked worriedly.
"Hope they are dead. They have been rapping girls ever since they stepped in to the school. The principal keep it as a secret because Larry was his only son" I said solemnly.
