"Ryan what was that?"
"Sam."
"Is she okay?"
"Fucking hell... They went everywhere." He mumbles.
"Ry, is Sam okay?"
"Just get here Alex, I gotta go now." He hangs up.
What the fuck is going on?
I book the soonest flight, and pack my bags. The whole time, feeling more and more worried. I hope everything's okay.
I grab a piece of paper and scribble a short message:
Jay, sorry I didn't properly say goodbye, but you're not home right now. Ryan told me I really need to go down there, I don't know why, but he said it was serious. Ill try call as soon as I can.
Love Alex.
I exit my room, and go to put it on the desk in his room. I run into Olivia on the way, she frowns at me.
"What are you lookin all worried about?" She prompts. I shrug the question off.
"Hey I gotta go and I won't be back for a little while so-" she cuts me off.
"Where are you going?"
"Don't worry about it, just give this to James when you see him, okay?" I hand her the note. She nods.
"Yeah okay." I smile
"Thanks liv."
I exit the house with my bags and make my way to the airport. Hoping that what ever is happening, they can handle it until I get there.

*Ryan pov*
I see Alex coming out of the airport, and wave him over to the car.
He smiles upon seeing him, and I can't help but return it. It's been too long since I've seen Alex in person.
"Hey!" He greets me with a hug, which I return.
"Hey Alex, thanks for coming man."
We toss his bags into the trunk, and head back to the hotel. On the way there, Alex turns to me.
"So tell me what's going on. Is everybody okay?"
"Yes and no."
Alex keeps looking at me expectantly. I sigh, not sure where to begin.
"We'll I guess the first thing you should know is, the tours been canceled." I say, feeling a wave of dejection flow through me. Alex's eyes widen.
"What? Why?"
"A little bit ago, Samantha got a cold and ended up loosing her voice. We didn't think much of it at the time, so we just let it be. However, it was gone for like five days. I begged Sam to go to the doctor, but you know how she is about that."
Alex nods, knowing what I mean.
You see in her whole life, Sam has only ever had one true phobia: Hospitals. For some reason, she has always been petrified of doctors, hospitals, pretty much anything medical related. What's even stranger is that, as long she's not there as a patient, shes totally fine. But if it's her getting looked at by the doctor, she freaks the fuck out.
"So anyway, her voice did eventually come back. But it's extremely rough, and scratchy. She's sounds like she's dying when she talks, and the singing isn't any better. It's been two weeks, and it's not getting any better."
