Maria taps her foot anxiously as she hit the call button. I'm not going to chicken out. I have to do this. Maria takes a deep breath, putting the phone to her ear. 1 ring, 2 rings, 3. His cheerful voice comes through the speaker.
"Hey babe!" he boasts.
"Hey. I uh..." God this is going to be harder than I thought.
"Babe? Is everything alright?" He speaks before I have a chance.
"Um yeah. I just... Trevor this isn't working for me. I'm really sorry but we have to part our own ways now." She takes the phone from her ear and hangs up before he can protest. I need a girls day now. She quickly dials up Daisy's number and explains everything that just happened.
"Hun. I'm on my way to pick you up. We are going to have a sleep over as of now."
"That sounds great. I'll pack a bag as fast as I can. They hang up and she goes to her room grabbing clothes and any other essentials, stuffing them in her duffel bag. Right as she finishes she hears a honk of a horn. Daisy's here! Maria rushes out side and hops in the car.
"Lets get this slumber party started! First lets go raid the store for junk food!" Daisy exclaims. She loves to go all out with these things.
