Tre Pov
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I got up and went to my bathroom and got in the shower. Then I got dressed (in the media), sponged my hair, and then brushed my teeth. "Damn I look good" I thought to myself as I looked in the mirror.
Then I heard my mom call me and I went down stairs. As I walked down the stairs I saw Jalen and my dad sitting at the table already. "Hey baby how did you sleep" my mom said as I walked over to her I said good and then she gave me a kiss on the forehead and then handed me my plate. She made pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Then she got her plate and came to sit down. "Let's pray." Then we all prayed.

"I have an announcement to make" my mom said. Jalen and I gave her all of our attention as she said "our boss is sending your dad and I to France to do some business next week and we'll be gone for a year so your uncle Drake will be coming to Detroit to watch you boys while we are gone." "Why so long" I said very sadly. "Our boss chose your mom and I to be the lawyers for a trial." My dad said. "Oh" Jalen and I said at the same time. "Don't look so sad babies, we still have until next Monday so we will be spending a lot of time together this week." My mom said. "Alright" Jalen and I said.
Tre Pov
I'm sad that my parents are leaving for so long but I'm glad that we get to see our Uncle Drake because Jalen and I don't really get to see him a lot because he's always busy with his music and tours and shit like that.

Once I was done eating I went to the sink and put my plate down. I grabbed my bag and waited for Jalen's slow ass to be ready to leave. "I'm ready." He said as he grabbed his bag. Finally motha fucka. We said bye to our mom and dad and then we started walking to school.
Oh yea, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Tre Brooks. I live in Detroit Michigan. I'm in tenth grade. I'm light skinned. I have dark brown and blonde hair with big brown eyes. I was born on January 13th. I'm 16. I play basketball. I'm single. I'm also apart of curly head nation, the s boys, and the #enjoydetroitmovement. So I'm very very busy all the time and I'm always working.
As we walk up closer to school we see the squad.
Squad: Kendrick, Terrick, Tre, Jalen, Trae, Fade, Dorrian, and Fab (aka the curly head nation boys)

Fade: why y'all look so sad
Tre: we just found out that our parents will be gone for 8 months
Jalen: but, our Uncle Drake is coming to watch and take care of us
