Addicted

Chapter 1

I checked into work and right away Amy, my boss, nagged me. "You're late."

"I stepped in here on time, by the time it took me to walk here I was one minute off stop being so tough on me," I whined and walked away.

She's pretty chill and I guess it makes sense since she's bubbly and owning a place like this."Ariel, the Henderson twins are coming in today."

I groaned. Little troublemakers. I went out front and grabbed my name tag off the counter turning on the radio, Love Somebody - Maroon 5 playing I smiled and sang along, "You're such a hard act for me to follow, Love me today, don't leave me tomorrow, yeah But if I fall for you, I'll never recover, If I fall for you, I'll never be the same," I got my name tag to clip on.
I had a white tight tank top with an unbuttoned flannel over it with tight black skinnies. Putting my hair in a messy bun, "I really wanna love somebody!" I danced and turned around to be standing infront of this guy holding a little girl. "Oh," I stopped and held onto the counter behind me. I felt so emberassed. He was cute and he caught me dancing in front of him like that. He was smirking and I wasn't sure what to do so I leaned over the counter, "hey sweetie," I smiled at the little girl in his arms, "what's your name?"

"It's Rosie," he answered for her.

"Oh," I backed up when I saw him glancing down at my chest I felt uncomfortable, "I'm Ariel," I informed and as soon as I said my name, Rosie smiled and looked up at this guy with a huge grin. He can't be her dad I mean he's like my age...

"I'm Jason," he held out his hand and I took it and smiled at him.

"No flirting with the customers Ariel," Amy walked by all joyfully and bumped me.

"Says you," I laughed and looked at her, "you married one."

"Watch it," she warned, "I can easily get rid of you."

"You love me too much to do that."

"Get back to work!" She laughed and walked out to the kids area.

I laughed and turned back to Jason and Rosie, "sorry about that."

"No problem." Jason smiled giving me butterflies. His smile was perfect. Not to mention his lips looked so fucking kissable. I looked into his eyes and they were gorgeous, they were light brown with some Honey color mixed in more into the center of his eyes, he cleared his throat and I shook my head, shit he caught me staring.

"So um, first time here?" I pulled out a packet for him to fill.

"Yeah," he sat Rosie onto the counter.

"Just fill this out, is she potty trained?" I slipped her off the counter and into my arms.

"No," he stared at me, "is that a problem?"

"Um," I looked at him and then at Rosie tickling her belly a little she giggled, "nah," i smiled at her, "how old is she?" I looked at Jason who was filling out the paper already.

"She's 3," he smiled at me and Rosie.

I smiled at Rosie again, "must have been a big moment watching your daughter be born," I looked at him and he quickly looked at me.

"Daughter?" He laughed, "that's my sister," he continued laughing, "you're cute."

I blushed, "sorry," I bit my lip and he pushed the papers towards me laying the pen down ontop of it.

"No worries."

She looked so much like him though, but makes sense, siblings are suppose to look alike. "So um it's 150 for a year or 10 bucks everyday your choice."

Amy burst in after i finished talking, "Ariel the twins are fighting again," her hair was a mess and she was panting.
I groaned and looked at Jason, "are you picking her up?" He nodded and I smiled at him, "see you then?"

A huge smile plastered on his face, "yeah."

I nodded and handed Amy, Rosie who started crying and screaming but there wasn't anything I could do.

I went back to the twins and pulled them apart from each other, "Josh over there," I pointed to a chair by the door and he tried running back to Daniel so I turned and picked him up sitting his butt on the chair, "stay, you're in time out." He pouted and crossed his arms infront of him. I hated seeing kids upset but if I wasn't doing this they'd knock each other out.

"Ha-ha!" Daniel pointed at him sticking out his tounge.

"Stop it." I picked him up, "you're sitting here longer than him for that, be nice to your brother." I sighed and he started crying.

"Noooo," he covered his face and my face dropped.

"No don't cry," I kept my hands on his lap and he cried, "don't tell aunt Amy but I'll give you candy if you stop," I offered and he instantly stopped crying and smiled up at me nodding his head. "Okay but shhh our secret okay?" I rubbed his head and pulled a lollipop out of my pocket giving it to him he quickly ate it.
Walking back over to Josh I gave him one too and placed my finger to my lips, "shhh" I handed him the lollipop and he nodded before I walked out.

"Arieeeellll," Amy sang.

"Whaaaaat?" She handed me Rosie who was still crying but calmed down once she was in my arms laying her head against my shoulder letting out small sobs and hiccups I bounced her in my arms a little.

"Awwww she likes you."

I looked down at Rosie's tired face laying against my chest, her hand gripping my shirt between my breast she tiredly tried to keep her eyes open and i smiled, "yeah i guess she does." I looked back up at Amy.

"That's good though cause," she handed me the file Jason filled out and i furrowed my eyebrows looking at Amy questioningly.

"Check the contact information," she winked and walked to the back.

I kept my eyebrows furrowed and looked at the paper where it said contact information, writting in sloppy handwritting was:

'Jason: 555-6117 Call me ;)'
