2. Donut What??

I turned down the music because my dad doesn't like the type of music I listen to again he is old school.

~20 minutes~

"I'm bored and hungry now" I say trying to finish one last sentence of the project before giving up for now

"Let's go out and grab something to eat" Derek says

We walk down stairs and I yell to my mom that we leaving and she doesn't say anything back which means she doesn't care as long as I come back without any scratches.

We make it to a diner near by and we sit at a booth. I read over the menu and 3 minutes later I am ready to order

"What can I get you today?" The waitress says about to take our order down

" can I get the bacon burger with fries and a cookies and cream milkshake" I tell her

"can I get the bacon burger with fries as well but instead a vanilla milkshake" He tells her

She takes the menus from us and we wait for our food

"Tell me about yourself" I say because I want to get to know him better not in that type of way

" My full name is Derek James Luh, I am 18 years old my dad forced me into the mafia because it is a family thing , I wanted to become a rapper, I have a 21 year old sister and a 20 year old brother which makes me the youngest. I used to live in Los Angeles but moved here in Orlando because of dangerous things and I have a best friend Nate but his stage name is Skate so yea that me.." He says still trying to think what else there is to tell me

"what about you?" he asks I knew he was going to ask but I still wasn't prepared

" My full name is Skylar Tana Capone, I am 16 turning 17 in about 1 week from today, I have two brother which are fraternal twins, I dance and sing i think i'm pretty good but i'm too shy to perform in public, I have moved about 8 times since I was 4 years old and I have a best friend Lina i'm pretty basic except for my families history" I give out a small chuckle by time I stopped talking the food came and my stomach was growling really loud

~15 minutes~

I was full so I called over the waitress so she can give me a box to go she quickly brought me the box with the check I grab my card and hand it to her but before she left Derek called her back and switched out the cards.

" Why did you do that?" I ask giving him a weird look

"I don't like girls paying with their money when I go eat with them" He says handing back my card and I put it back into my wallet.

The waitress comes back with Derek's card and as we get up to leave I see something which makes my eyes widen

I see Nash with his arm around this girl with brown hair and green eyes then I see him kiss her he looks up and sees me, he takes his arm away from the girl and tries to grab my arm but Derek pushes him from gripping onto me

Tears start coming down my face I rush over to Derek's car waiting for him to come back once he does he has a black eye. He gets into the car unlocks the car so I can get in then we head back to my house.

I take Derek into the house and grab him an ice pack to put on his face I was still crying and my mom came into the kitchen and see that I was crying and Derek had a black eye

"What happened Skylar" she asks me while checking on Derek's black eye

"Na... Nash cheated on me, I seen him with this brown hair chick and I guess Derek tried to get Nash to back away and ended up getting a black eye in return" I say trying to hold back my tears but it doesn't work I loved Nash soo much and this is what I get in return I should have listened to my father when he said Nash was no good ugh I hate myself right now

I hear the door close and I hear the twins talking while making their way to the kitchen because they usually eat after practice.

Both their eyes widen and  start questioning me what happened to Derek and I and i tell them everything and Derek explained why he got a black eye and I was right he did try to stop Nash from talking to me

"That boy is going to get it tomorrow at school" Dylan says cracking his knuckles

"He messed with the wrong family and now his pretty little face will be ugly" Josh says cracking his neck

"Guys just leave it alone it doesn't matter I knew deep down he was cheating but I chose to ignore it" I tell them while looking at my shoes feeling ashamed

I walk to my room and as soon as I hit my pillow I cried my eyes out because I couldn't handle the pain I soon feel my eyes shutting on me
