"You should come to my room," Marinette suggested, after their kwamis had been fed and Rose was taken care of. "I, uh... We should, um... talk... about... stuff," she finished lamely. It wasn't entirely an excuse to hang out with Adrien. They also should maybe talk a little, shouldn't they?

"Sure," Adrien agreed. "I mean, um..." He could only think about the fact that Ladybug had just invited him to her room.

She led the way, stopping to say hello to her parents and to grab some snacks. They ascended the stairs to her room, where Marinette sat on her chair and Adrien sat on her bed.

Marinette had forgotten to take down her photos of Adrien, and tried to cover them up before Adrien laughed and said, "You really should see my room some day. It's almost entirely devoted to Ladybug."

Marinette rolled her eyes. "You and Alya should start a fan club or something." She spun around in her chair.

"Maybe we should." Adrien decided not to mention that he followed the Ladyblog closely.

Marinette studied him. The boy she'd been crushing on since she first laid eyes on turned out to be none other than the silly, pun-filled superhero she saved Paris with. Somehow, the two just did not compute. How could reserved, suave Adrien be the same guy who constantly flirted with her shamelessly? It was like a puzzle, and no matter how she rotated the pieces, she couldn't get them to fit.

"So." Marinette stood up and joined Adrien on her bed. "Does this, um..."

"Change anything?" Adrien finished. "I don't know. It's still us, isn't it? Doing geography homework, saving all of Paris?"

Marinette nodded, not entirely convinced.

Silence.

Adrien abruptly leaned over and kissed Marinette. She shrieked and fell off the bed.

"Sorry!" Adrien apologized immediately. "I just had to do that."

Marinette gasped for air. "No, no, it's fine! Really!" Adrien kissed me! Me!

"Everything okay up there?" Marinette's mom called.

"Oui! Yes, it's all great!" She certainly was. The only thing going through her mind was AAADRIENKISSEDMEAAA!

"Um, can I do that again if I want?" Adrien managed to ask.

"Yes, absolutely!" Marinette wheezed, hoisting herself onto her bed.

Adrien leaned in again, and Marinette followed suit. They kissed again.

Both of their brains went a bit haywire.

Adrien pulled away, wondering if this was really true; if he had just kissed Ladybug, who regularly saved Paris with him, and who the entire city adored. Smart, beautiful, powerful, miraculous Ladybug.

Marinette pulled away wondering if she had really just kissed Adrien, her crush for as long as she'd known him, the guy she could never speak around without getting tongue-tied, and who was a famous model.

"BLEARGH!" Tikki and Plagg groaned in unison, and hid in Adrien's and Marinette's bags.

"Can we do that while we're Chat Noir and Ladybug?" Adrien begged.

Marinette giggled. "Okay," she agreed, daydreaming of kissing Adrien regularly. Of dating him and then marrying him and having three cats and a hamster and saving Paris every other day.

She sighed dreamily.

A huge CRASH awakened them both of their fantasies with a start. They turned their heads to Marinette's window, where a large... thing was stomping about. Marinette could barely make out Mayor Bourgeois under a grotesque exaggerated businessman's suit and mask.
