"Put me down!" Leo growls as I hold him in my arms.
"No, I'm telling Mom, but you need to keep your mouth shut." I say back as he stops fighting and begins panting in annoyance.
"Well, when are you going to tell her?" He wonders as I put him down, he glares at me.
"When I get time to. She has been busy with your brother. Wait, why are you questioning me? I'm the Alpha!" I say, he just sighs giving me an irritated glare.
"I know," He says in a condescending voice making me roll my eyes.

"What are you two doing?" We hear, as Mia shuts the front door giving us a strange looks.
"Good luck." Leo smirks sliding on his heel going off in the house.
Mia walks up to me, her breathing heavy and her breasts falling and rising making drawing my eyes.

"My eyes are up here, Jason." Mia claims pointing to her face, a smirk on her face as she caught me gawking.
"Mia," I whisper tugging her hand, pulling her out the door again.
"What's the matter?" Mia says biting her lip as her eyebrows furrow in concern.
"We just need to talk about something." I say rubbing the back of her hand with my thumb.
"You're making me nervous. What's up?" She ponders, her heart is racing, I can feel it.

"Mia, you know the situation with your brother has just got worse since we've had Mason, yes?" I state, she nods slowly.
"He is still after us, you especially. Mason now as well, a baby of two Alpha's children, he is going to be powerful. And Hayden is not going to hold up now, he is going to try and strike at any moment. That's what I'm concerned about, he is trying to take us down." I say, I see her inhale and exhale deeply, her mood as dropped drastically.
"We need to be more careful. I won't let anything happen and I know you won't let anything happen either. And nothing will happen to Mason, over my dead body." She says, growling towards the end of her sentence.
"Yes, I know, my love. Nothing will, we have extra security on our boarders and secondary rounds." I hum kissing the side of her head.

"On the bright side, you look amazing. You always do, but I see you've been working out often, though you don't have to. But I think you look, beautiful." I say now kissing her lips she smiles against mine saying thank you before I give her a hug.
"I still can't believe we are parents." Mia breathes with a bright smile.

"And great parents in that." I say as we begin to walk back to the house.

It was a nice walk both of us taking in the scenery of the spring season coming in. The trees greening, flowers blooming, and the weather is beautiful.
We take the walk back and once inside she goes up stairs to get a shower.

"Did you tell her?" Leo wonders and I nod, though it wasn't at all I was suppose to tell her.

I have to ask her soon.

"Jason," Nick says warily. "Everything alright?"
"Peachy, why wouldn't everything be?" I say before I hear a snap, looking down to see my phone in pieces.

"I'm leaving, Mom's going to be mad at you." Leo counters as him and my younger brothers leave the house.

"You didn't ask her yet, did you?" Nick chuckles as I throw out the reminder of my phone.
"You try it, not as easy as it looks!" I say exasperated as I glare at him.
"I would assume," Is all he says in defense.

"Did anyone ever figure out how Hayden got out when we were gone? I know Quaker's team caught a scent but still." Nick states with a confused tone.
"No clue," I sigh in aspiration as we walk into my office. The door slams shut and something very obscene exits my mouth.

"I didn't mean to slam the door! How about getting hinges to make it shut nicely." Nick proclaims as we sit at my desk going through paper work.

"Someone had to be helping him. Thats the only way he could've gotten out. There is no way he could've got out on his own." I say groan as Nick agrees.
"We have to get men on the cell he was in and check for finger prints and fur." I say as Nick mind links them now, I look through Hayden's file trying to capture some kind of evidence on him. But it's the same things over and over again, nothing I haven't read before.

"Didn't Hayden have a mate?" Alec questions walking into my office with Max trailing.
"Yeah, he did. From what I've heard she wasn't his real mate. Heidi and Mia are still friends, and sooner or later she will need to be questioned. That means you two will have to get her from Mooncrest and bring her back her. Nick you'll be here with me. Alec, and Max leave now and return with her." I state running my hands over my face, I hear them leave. Only after a few minutes does he leave too.

There is so much to do, and I'm just exhausted.
Getting up I walk to the kitchen seeing Mia feeding Mason. Both wear bright smiles, he has her beautiful dimpled smile. I give both of them kisses before taking the bottle from Mia, she gives me a grateful smile.
I look down at the bottle then towards Mia's breasts.
"I wonder what breast milk taste like." I counter, Mia giggles.
"Don't try it." She snickers, I stare at it before debating against it.
I watch Mia move around. The kitchen, cooking up dinner as I feed Mason, the house is peaceful for a change.

"You sent Alec and Max to Mooncrest?" She turns around with a pout.
"They're already there?" I question back in astonishment, Mia frowns, her brows knitted.
I feel Mia's chest tighten in worry, her breathing is shaky and I have a gut wrenching feeling.

"I sent them to get Heidi. She was Hayden's fake mate. So the goal is to bring her back here, see what information she may have leading to Hayden. And if she is safe, she can stay here." I say, Mia doesn't say a word, but from her heart rate I know she is content with the project control.

"Don't stress about this, Jason. It won't do any good, relax." Mia whispers finishing up dinner. She faces me with a small smile.
"We're doing this together, you're not alone." She smiles coming over placing her soft pink lips against mine.
My wolf howls in exhilaration, she knows how to calm me.

I continue feeding Mason until he has finished his bottle.

"You don't n ow how much I love you." I whisper in his ear as I start to burp him.
"And one day you'll have a beautiful mate like Mommy. And you'll see she's perfect. And love her all the same." I laugh as I head up the stairs.

"God, I love her, Mason." I laugh at my own joy when I think about Mia.

"And I love you." Mia mind-links me, a smile appears on my lips.

I have to ask her soon, very soon.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Update finally, I know, I have midterms this week, so I probably won't get to write until the weekend but then I get spring break!

BOYFRIEND UPDATE. I'M SINGLE, AND STAYING SINGLE! :)
Literally he said to me, he just wanted to be alone, said he was never happy and he didn't want me or my help. So he left, and you know what? Fine, he wouldn't even say he loved me, after four and a half years? Alrighty, he just threw away four and a half years.
So instead of running back to him, I just stopped, he hasn't texted me, and I haven't texted him and that's how it will stay. He's left like four or five times, I'm done being hurt.
Of course I miss him, but missing someone doesn't mean you need them back. Missing someone is just another part of moving on.
And I'm happy, it's okay. :) I'll do better!

And Quote of the Day:
"We get so worried about being happy, that we end up missing out on happiness altogether. Stop waiting for that magical moment of pure bliss and start enjoying whatever little fragments of happiness you can find... It's the rainy nights spent curled under the blankets with a good book. It is the feeling you get in your stomach when you've laughed so hard. It's licking cookie dough off your fingers. It's the solo dance parties in your room at 3am. It is the little moments. That's what life's all about." -Tumblr
