Biographies

Celina

My name is Celina Abushawish and I am an Eighth grader attending Western Center Academy. This is my first year of doing robotics, so far it's pretty good. I help with marketing, building, and some programming. I like to play basketball, swim, play on my ipad, and of course playing with my kittens. One of my favorite hobbies is to laugh. My favorite subjects are Science and Math, my least favorite is Social studies.

Ra'ad

My name is Ra'ad Abushawish and I am in 7th grade at the Western Center Academy. This is my first year in robotics and I am looking forward in finishing this year in a great start. I hope by the end of this year I will be a great engineer. In my free time I like to play soccer, basketball, hangout with my brother, and play on the PS4 with my brother.

Caleb

My name is Caleb Teasley and I am a 7th grader at Western Center Academy. This is my first year in robotics and I am having a good time and enjoy it. I help with pretty much everything on the team because I am an intern. Some activities I like to do are playing with my pets, watching Youtube, playing video games, and making Youtube videos. My best and favorite subjects in school are Math and English.

Amelia

My name is Amelia Arabe, I am a Seventh grade at Western Center Academy. This is my first year in robotics. I hope to be able to learn how to program well and learn to work well with a team. I like to practice my Tae Kwon Do, draw, play piano and guitar, and write stories.

Morgan

My name is Morgan Hulstrom, I attend the ninth grade at Western Center Academy. This is my third year participating in robotics. For the two previous years I was on team 5828, also known as E.M.P. CHAOS. I am head marketer, and enjoy doing my work. I am deeply interested in the arts, and prefer to read then do anything. I really like music and enjoy many genres.

Robert Derck

I am Robert Derck, and am in the tenth grade or a sophomore at Western Center Academy. This is my third year in FTC, as I joined during the Block Party year. I am the captain of team 5755. My personal favorite pastimes include playing on the xbox 360, reading, writing, and playing soccer. My favorite subjects in school are math and history.

Harry Derck

My name is Harry Derck and I am an eighth grader at the Western Center Academy school. This is my third year in robotics and I am looking forward to competing in this year's event to learn more about robotics and show other people the amazing experience that I have had with FIRST to inspire them. My favorite things that I like to do is playing soccer, video games, and playing with my cats.

Robert Valenzuela

Hello, I am Robert Valenzuela and I am an eighth grader attending Western Center Academy. This is currently my first year of robotics and I am excited to see everything and learn new things that I can use in the near future. Some of my many interests are learning new information, playing games, being with my family and dog, and working in the computer field.
