Prologue

Leilah Johnson seems just like any teenager, but that's a lie. Her Dad is a drug dealer, and only focuses on that instead of helping her Mom pay bills and paying her and her brother Josh's college.

Although one day changes everything when Leilah simply opens the door. Leilah's fate and future will be forever changed in the course of time, but not just her fate changes, everyone she loves will have to sacrifice something that causes their future to change.

Chapter 1: I thought.......

RINGGGGGGG!! WAKE UP WAKE UP!

Why, is the first thing that pops into my mind, when i hear THIS STUPID alarm go off. Gosh, i hate school.

I was so tired from staying up all night watching vampire diaries. I just flipped over and shut my alarm off and went back to sleep.

Creak.....stupid noise. Creak.......OMG stop. Creakkkkkkk...Whatever I'm too tired to care.

Just as I thought that, a burst of freezing ice-cold water splashed all over me. I knew who exactly did this.

" AHHHHHH!!! JOSHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....YOU MOTHER FLOWER!!!!!" I screamed

I hear deep laughing from a far distance. Ohhh i will get him back, game on big bro. I got up from my now squishy cold bed, and went to the shower. I quickly washed my curly brown, and stepped out of the shower. I grabbed a pair of light washed ripped jeans with a Journey t-shirt. I quickly slipped them on, and put a little of mascara and some lip balm. AND BOOM....I'm ready. I still hear the water running in my brother's bathroom. Ohhhhhhh...it's the perfect time to get my sweet revenge. I slowly and quietly opened the bathroom door, to hear Josh singing " We own the night" by The wanted. I think my ear drums just bridged....ew.

I quickly ran to the toilet and flushed twice in one swift movement, and out of the door. I ran downstairs to act like I did nothing, but I all of a sudden hear " HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL...HOTT!! GRRR.....LEILAH!!!!" Ohhh my sweet revenge. I went into the kitchen, and grabbed a bowl and some Captain Crunch cereal, and poured it in with some milk. Yum, my breakfast, I hear feet thump against the hardwood floors, I smirk will I chew on my delicious cereal, looking down at the floor.

I look up to see a very mad Josh, his hair still wet, but with a pair of cargo pants and Walking dead t-shirt. "Do you really want to start this game Leilah, because I'm 120% positive I'll win." Josh warned.

I smirked and turned around to open the refrigerator, and opened the carton of eggs. I took one out slowly and closed the carton and the refrigerator door. I looked at Josh with an evil smile across my face. I then walked up to Josh, I took the egg and smashed it over his hair. Josh is super sensitive about his hair. His faced turned from confused to angry. " I think you know my answer now. Now hurry and wash your hair, we are gonna be late." I demanded. I grabbed my cereal, and just as I was about to take a spoonful of cereal I saw something move, I touched my spoon with it, and then it became visual. I screamed to the top of my lungs that I pretty sure China can here...there...was...a..lizard...EWWW. Ever since preschool I have been completely terrified of lizards.

I look up from my bowl, to see Josh smiling wickedly, " I think you also got my answer too", Josh said. With that Josh left to go upstairs to treat his "to his ruined hair", while I brush my teeth or scrub my teeth and tongue f err on the grossness.

Maybe the day will get better, I thought.

I was 100% wrong on that.
