Peter's P.O.V.

"Clare where did you go?" I yell through out the house.It's been two days sense she had her first shift and every chance she gets to get away from me and she takes it."Clare!"I then hear laughing coming from where all the pups who can't go to school play when their moms and dads leave them here with me to watch for my job keeps me at this house. As I walk towards the door I hear one of the little girls say something to Clare."I'm sorry Cleo what did you say sweetie?" Clare says as I walk into the room. There are only four pups left behind and all of them are girls."I said Miss Clare are you alpha Peter's mate?" Cleo who lost her parents at a month old from them trying to protect her asks."What do you think Cleo is she my mate?" I asks making my beautiful mate jump and turn to look at me."Yes I think she is because you said that anyone who is going to be your Luna has to be nice, carrying, and sweet to all the members of the pack even to those who lost there family." Cleo said all happy to say what I told her a couple months after I became alpha and she was the only one left in my care."Peter is this true, is that what you want in a Luna?" Clare asks looking at with a few tears in her eyes."Yes baby, that's what said and what I was looking for in a Luna." I say walking up to her and brushing away her tears."Well good because I'm like that and I'm not changing anymore then becoming a she-wolf." She says looking up at me."I could just kiss you right now you know that." I say looking at her with so much love I don't know if I can just keep our kisses concealed to when no one is around but us."Well go ahead alpha and kiss her no one is here but me." Cleo says making us look at her."Why thank you Cleo for telling us, but I think I can last for a few more weeks." I say everyone thinks that me and Clare have not kissed or been around each other unless we are eating with the pack sense she shifted into her wolf, but every night she would come into my room when she thinks I'm asleep and lays down next to me with enough space so we don't tough but I always pull her the rest of the way and don't let her go."Miss Clare are you going to ask alpha what we talked about?" Cleo asks looking like all hopeful."Ask me what?" I say turning to Clare."I'll tell you to night or Cleo can ask now." She says with that wonderful smile of her's."Can I call Miss Clare mommy?" She says looking at me."Well I would say that if she doesn't mind it's fine by me." I say giving her a worm smile."Yay and dose that mean I get to call you daddy?""It sure dose Cleo. Come my little angels lets go to dinner." I say picking up Cleo and heading for the door. When I notice that Clare isn't coming. "Clare baby is everything alright?""Yeah just can I talk to you about something alone please?""Sure thing. Cleo why don't you go on ahead but don't let anyone know about Miss Clare being my mate okay I'm going to tell them soon.""Okay daddy. See you and mommy soon." She said as she took off to the dinning room.I wonder why she wanted to call us that I think as I turn back to my wonderful mate."Because she said that her parents died when she was a month old and she doesn't like being the only pup who can't say that she did something with her mommy and daddy." Clare says as she walks up to me."I said that out loud didn't I?" I ask as I rap my arms around her waist."Yes babe, you did." She says leaning on me."So what did you want to talk to me alone for?" I say putting my head in the curve of her neck."Oh right when are we going to tell the pack that I'm your mate?" She says pulling away to look up at me."Soon baby girl I promise.""How soon is soon?""Clare why do you want to know?" I ask I know that I can't keep this from my pack any longer, but if only she would just be patient."Peter the pack needs to know.""You don't think I know that it's just Clare we have less then three weeks until the wedding please just let me tell them when I think their ready to hear it." I say pulling her back to me."No Peter I can't stand sneaking around to be able to kiss and hold my mate. Alright I want to do it with other people around. Peter I feel like your ashamed to call me your mate." She said almost in tears."Clare I'm not ashamed of having you as my mate, but baby please stop the tears that way we can go eat. Besides I have a surprise for you okay?""Okay go on a head I'll be there in a few." She says brushing away the tears."Alright see you in a few." I mean would you want the whole pack to see that you have been crying over what could possibly be nothing.Once I was all cleaned up I headed to the dinning room wondering what he had in mind for a surprise.When get to the dinning room I hear some of the pack asking Peter who Cleo is talking about."Everyone you will know who Cleo is calling her mother real soon alright besides don't you all still want to know who my mate is?" Peter says getting everyone to stop with the questions about me just for them to start up again about something different.'I know your outside the door Clare so come on in the surprise is waiting to be discovered.' Peter says to me through the mind link.'You made me blush but I'll be right in.' I tell him trying to calm my blush.Once I enter everyone looks at me in disgust then back at Peter as one pack member who hasn't been marked yet asks. "So alpha who is this mate of yours?" She says winking and giving him a flirtatious smile.'Slut' I think to Peter. He has to choke back a laugh at my remark of the girl.Once he regains himself he says, "Well...""Daddy can I tell them please, please, please, please?" Cleo ask as she sits on the left of Peter."Sure thing sweetie you can tell them." Peter says looking at her as I make my way to the opposite side of the table from Peter and Cleo."Yay." She says as she starts to jump up and down in her seat. When she notices where I'm heading she stops me. "Mommy, where are you going?"I stop dead in my tracks and turn to look at her sweet innocent face. "Cleo sweetheart I'm going to sit in my seat just like your in yours." I say really sweetly."No your not mommy your heading in the wrong way. Your seat is next to daddy and across som me." She says all proud to uncover me and Peter"I told you that I had surprise for you tonight baby girl." Peter says with a smile of finally getting to call me that with others around. I blush and look down. "Aww come here my baby blush." He coos which just makes me blush harder for he knows I hate that nickname that he gave me.I go over and sit next to him. Peter doesn't seem to mind all the stairs we are getting and just grabs my hand and places it to his lips.How can he ignore all those stares I wonder."Because they are just mad that they didn't find out until now." Peter says looking at me."I did not just say that out loud did I?" I ask Peter."Yes mommy you did." Cleo says jumping off of her seat to come over to me."Thank you baby for letting me know." I say looking down at her."Can I sit on your lap during dinner please?" She asks in a cute way not knowing that I was going to let her weather she asked or not."Of course you can sweetie." I say as I lift her up and onto my lap."A great Luna should never let little ones sit on her lap." The girl who was flirting with Peter a little while ago says all snotty like."Um no that is wrong an awful Luna would do that for an awful one doesn't care about the younger pack members where as a great Luna makes sure that every orphaned pup is tucked in and ready for a good nights sleep." I say like a girl wise beyond my years."And that is one reason why I love you." Peter says rubbing small circles on my wrist."I love mommy." Cleo says turning to give me a hug."Aww and I love both of you along with everyone in the pack no matter how mean they are." I ask for I have Clare covering her eyes."Yes daddy let me see my surprise." She said like she is full of sugar."Alright, hey baby did you give her any candy?""Peter! You were with both of us the whole time and no I didn't give her any not even before dinner." Clare said looking at me with her if I could I would slap you right now look."Okay so she is always like this.""Daddy your stalling.""Yea Peter so quit it.""Both of my babies are ganging up on me well I guess Cleo doesn't want to see her new room." I say with a smile."What I get a new room?" Cleo said pulling Clare's hands away."Yes Cleo you get a new room and it is right next to mine and your mommy's." I say laughing."Can I see. Can I see, please." She ask tugging on my pant leg."Yes sweetie you can but you have to understand that tomorrow we can go and get everything you want to add a touch of Cleo to it okay?" Clare says as I open the door to reveal her new room."Wow." She said running into the room. "Where is yours and mommy's room?""Our room baby girl is right through here. Come on fallow me and we will meet daddy in there." Clare said holding out her hand to Cleo."Okay but why would we meet daddy in there. Why doesn't he just come with us?""Well sweetheart I have to go on patrol but I'll be back in about an hour." I say kissing both of their cheeks and heading for the door."Alright now that we got ride of him what should we do once you see where mine and your daddy's room is?" Clare says heading for the bathroom to both rooms."Make a list of what we need and play games in my new room." Cleo said jumping up and down."Alright we'll do that come on."Man I can't wait to get back from patrol and be with my girls. Knowing that they are safe and sound right next to me.'Well the faster we get on patrol the faster we can be with our mate.' My wolf tells me and that gets me running outside and on patrol in record time for me.
