Chapter 5: Suzu no oto, Hikari,
“Today is normal day~♪,”
Walking down the empty hallways, I hummed quietly. It really was a normal day… Yura and Takeshi were staying after class for make up, I was heading off to training alone…
Umiyo, hate wa, doko doko e,
tsuzuiteru no ano kuni e,
I began singing quietly,
Nami wa ukabu, chiisai fune,
yurari-yurari nagasarete.
Umino muko wo shiranu kuni,
shira nami tsukete kie te eh ta~,
Umiyo hate ni, nami mieru?
Kawai kimi e ano uta wo~”
I looked out the window and saw the sky was covered with gray clouds. They weren’t rain clouds. Quickly heading out, the freezing air brushed against my cheek and my breath became visible,
“Uwa-“ I flinched a bit, but immediately warmed up. I rubbed my hands together and smiled warmly. “It’s already winter,” I spun around on my heel once and laughed.
“Setsura!” A sudden voice called out to me,
I looked back and Fuyumi stood waving at me behind a tree.
“F-Fuyumi-chan!?” I ran to her, “What are you doing here? I told you to be at the dorms,”
“But it’s boring!” She grabbed my arm, “Let’s train! Until it snows! Please!” She begged. Looking at her smile, I couldn’t say no,
