Chanyeol goes over Jongin's house one day, and instead of being insulted by his best friend's catboy Kyungsoo, he falls in love.

Chanyeol's standing outside of the door, hands in his jean pockets and fiery red hair swept to the side, when Jongin opens the door with a flourish, hair in a mess atop his head and a look of complete fear on his face. Chanyeol swears that he can hear yelling in the apartment behind his best friend.

Peals of laughter escape the giant's mouth as Jongin pleads with him, "You've got to take him off of my hands. All he does is walk around naked, which is why Kyungsoo attacks him because he thinks the boy is trying to 'lure' me in with his 'seductive' ways."

Chanyeol is still laughing. Jongin wants to punch him in the face.

As his best friend steps aside, before Chanyeol can even walk through the doorway, a heavy weight comes crashing into him, wrapping around his neck and waist. There's hair in his face (he tries not to breathe in the scent of vanilla) and he can feel rushed breaths against his ear, until the weight yowls, "He's trying to kill me. He's crazy. You have to get me away from him."

It takes Chanyeol a moment to process (within his tiny peanut brain) that there is indeed a catboy attached to him, and that Kyungsoo is running at them with full speed. The giant turns just in time, arm secured around the catboy's waist, tail whipping at his jean-clad legs, before he hears a huff as Jongin grabs Kyungsoo by the waist stopping the cat before it can get to the one shivering in Chanyeol's arms.

Turning around, Chanyeol finally gets a good look at his best friend's catboy that's been Chanyeol's friend for about six years, and he's never seen him so angry, ears flattened against his head, angry hisses escaping his throat, lips pulled back in a snarl.

"Stop trying to bend over for my master, slut."

Oh woah. Chanyeol's definitely never heard sweet, little Kyungsoo that purrs loudly when Chanyeol runs his fingers through his hair, say such a mean thing—come to think of it, Kyungsoo's never been mean at all. And to such a sweet, scared kitty. Chanyeol runs his fingers down the boy's back in a calming gesture and feels the body slump against him a bit, a head of hair burrowing in his neck.

"Now, now, Kyungsoo. I'm sure he meant no harm," the giant soothes, cooing at the small weight in his arms and giggling at the nose against his ear. Chanyeol tries to ignore the grin that his best friend directs at him, and gasps when Kyungsoo continues on his rant.

"He's walking around naked and letting off heat pheromones, trying to get Jongin to mount him. He's a homewrecker and he isn't allowed back inside my house," Kyungsoo screams, thrashing against Jongin's hold, bare feet stomping against the ground, eyebrows furrowed, and black tail lashing about, hair puffed up along the ends.

This is about the time where Chanyeol realises that the catboy in his arms is more than naked, and is wrapped around him like a koala. Chanyeol's got a hand running up and down his bare back, and he's got a naked catboy's face nuzzled against the side of his face. The giant flares up a bright red pink, and thankfully Jongin is too busy calming Kyungsoo down to laugh at him.

The catboy moves away from his neck to look him in the eyes, and Chanyeol wills himself to self-restraint when he glances at the boy's face. He's all soft, pudgy cheeks, and thin lips and crescent-shaped smiles and there's a mole just above his lip that makes Chanyeol weak in the knees. There's a messy brown atop his head, matched with lighter brown ears, and the redhead assumes that his tail is the same shade.
